I use these as worktop protectors next to my induction hob after I had an accident with a glass one sliding into the side of my hob (sad face). These are great. They stay put, are heat proof and can go in the dishwasher. They are probably good for baking as well - I just don't use them that way.

Needed something to protect an overly used area on my kitchen worktop and it needed to be black and heat resistant.With this item I got exactly what I was looking for, it blends in in well with my worktop and provides the protectionI needed. I am very pleased and would highly recommend.

You can put this at the side of your hob and use it as a worktop protector (takes hot pans without a mark)...as well as for baking stuff...
