I bought 2 of the 40x50cm worktop savers and I am over the moon with both. They are a great size, look very professional and are of a very high quality.They are made of a lovely lightweight clear glass which allows you to see your work surface through them. Although there is a slight texture to them which I prefer as it prevents every water mark being seen as is the case with pure clear glass.I have also used these to chop & cut up vegetables which hasn’t left any scratches so they appear to be pretty resilient as well. Although they will probably be used more for protecting my surfaces from hot dishes and general use as I prefer chopping boards for preparation of foods. Love them!!

Product arrived with small chip to glass front edge. Unsure whether this is a manufacturing defect or as a result of the very basic inadequate packaging it arrived in this morning (the extremely thin package looked more like it was concealing a flimsy magazine than a piece of glassware! No padding/bubble wrap whatsoever)Due to the glass being textured, the product does appear more glass green/blue than clear when in place on worktop. Difficult to tell this in the professional photos advertised. More suited to a modern than traditional kitchen.

Having recently got real wood worktops in the kitchen I wanted some extra protection for them when preparing and cooking food in the kitchen.This worktop saver was the practical choice - its large so can have multiple pans & boards etc on it at one time, cleans easily and is pretty thin so not a problem to store in a cupboard.Ok so the design is a bit bland, just some frosted glass and its a shame that they Joseph Joseph don't do something a bit more lively but if your looking for substance over style then this will do.

We bought this to replace an older worktop saver. It's good quality glass, frosted not clear though. Frosting is on the top and underside is smooth. Small clear rubber feet in each corner. Useful for putting pots and pans on, and chopping, although because it's glass we still chop on a 'proper' chopping board. It came well protected and well packaged. We have been happy although it is at the higher end of the price scale. The little Joseph Joseph logo etched on is a nice feature to make the kitchen look good.

After buying & returning the JJ Chop & carve board (as quite frankly it was bloody useless) I was in two minds whether to order another JJ chopping board. I needn't have worried though these seem great (so far) & I love the XL size of them. Only slight down side is because of the size they are quite heavy to pick up but I'd rather take the bigger size than a smaller lighter board.

This wasn't quite what I expected but it works well (I probably should have read the description better!!). It's a glass worktop saver and is fine for cutting on, and easy to clean. I've used it as a heat mat on a table as well. Quite happy with my purchase and much lighter than the marble slabs I've have previously.

This is a good strong and sturdy large board which is great for putting hot things on from the oven and for chopping on. The only reason I have given it just 4 stars is because no matter how much antibacterial spray I put on and really scrub at it, there are still ring marks left by mugs etc.

Wanted something to protect my oak sides but not take away from the look. These are great boards, good size to use for chopping boards or to place pans. The glass is slightly opaque and the boards have 4 small rubber corner supports to stop slippage. So impressed bout another, so now have 3.

Lovely worktop saver and good price but I thought it would be clear and it is textured patterned, however I decided to paint on the reverse, add sparkle and it now looks great with my glass splashbacks in my kitchen. This is also larger than the usual sort which is very useful.

Great to protect our slate countertops from scratching, easy to clean, pretty robust and takes a lot of heat. Bought two...one to go on either side of sink. Have small grippy rubber feet that prevent marking and slipping..Very happy with them

Very stylish and look great on my black worktop. Fully heat resistant. I also use them on the dining table for food straight from the oven and my guests have been impressed with how good they look . Expensive but I think worth the extra

I initially bought these to use as a protective barrier for my counter tops, close to my cooker, and found them to be quite useful for alot more other uses, and absolutely worth it. Easy to clean, and a good accessory for my kitchen.

It looks as though it was made for my cupboard top. I can put hot pans on it with no fear of it breaking. I am delighted with my purchase. I love it. It is easy to keep clean and looks as though it was made for the cupboard.

I have oak worktops and they need more protection that other materials. I chose this worktop saver due to its generous size and the fact that it was clear glass, so it doesn’t spoil the look of the worktop.

Like all Joseph Joseph accessories this is well made, pratical and looks great.This is my second one, the previous one lasted several years, with only the checkerboard decal gradually peeling off.
