This is a beautiful and functional set of chopping boards. Whilst each of the 4 plastic boards is a pretty decent size they're also very compact within the holder.They look so good that I wasn't even tempted to clear out cupboard space for them, they have pride of place on the worktop.The base of the silver holder has 4 grippy feet so it isn't easily knocked out of place on the work surface.Each board has a coded tab denoting its purpose: meat / hot food / fish / vegEach tab's code is embossed in a rubber coating for ease of use and extra grip when getting the board out with damp hands (a nice touch as the tabs aren't that big so would be annoying if they became slippery and difficult to

I LOVE joseph Joseph products, I have more of their products than I am willing to admit because they're SO expensive, so the reason for my slightly lower rating is because I've used each of the boards maybe 3 times so far since receiving and I'm really disappointed to say that they've all scratched up really badly from the knife, from just cutting up the food.For example the veggie board is the worst one because it's completely smooth, but after chipping up just an onion on it- I have now got a really rough surface which scratches so deep I can feel with my finger and see the imperfection and it's raised ect.Now- some might say, this is a chopping board- it's going to have knife marks on it after a while- which is true yes!!

I must admit that I am old fashioned and still use the extremely unhygienic wooden chopping boards.The downside of these is they don't really last long once you've washed them and water has got in and warped them so when my latest one split I looked for something a bit more long lasting and these are the result.First off they look very good. All 4 boards in the carry case are surprisingly weighty but the whole thing is compact in the room it takes up, looks quite good and it's easy to access the board you want thanks to the clear labelling and raised tabs allowing you to pull out the one you want quickly and easily.The boards are a decent enough size and have the added feature of a slightly raised rim running round the board so no juices run off while you are cutting.

I use this all the time. When I first purchased it I kept a hold of my old chopping boards as I wasn't sure if these would be big enough to stand in for the larger old ones. These are great. Knowing that the only food type that's been on the board means that I'm much less paranoid about cross contamination. The small size can be a little frustrating when there's a lot of veg to be cut but in reality it just means that my prep is more organised and I end up with pots and bowls prepared just like on Saturday Kitchen.I love how it stores away so neatly too and it looks good even when no in use.

Even though they are smaller than average, these are excellent cutting boards. Yes, there is a little scoring but that's only to be expected with this material. Compact storage, the set tucks into the side of the work surface taking up very little room.Now that non-slip pads have been introduced into the design it means there is no need for a damp cloth underneath to prevent slippage. As with the few JosephJoseph things we have, it is very well designed and thought out.Much prefer the softer colours which suit the kitchen.

I wanted to have separate chopping boards for meats, veg and fish and also wanted to have them in one place and easily storable. The stand makes this fit in the kitchen without taking too much space and the colours and key work great. My only negative and hence the 4 not 5 stars is that they dont seem to put up much of a fight against knives within the first use there are deep scratches on the surface revealing the colour below the surface - other than that would recommend.

This Joseph Joseph Index Chopping Board Set comes in a silver case, containing 4 colour-coded chopping boards. To prevent cross-contamination, each board has a specific type - vegetables, fish, meat and cooked food. The case has non-slip feet, as do the boards, which is a real asset when cutting/chopping foods. They are dishwasher-safe, and pack away neatly into their case, taking up a minimum of space. I really like them, they are very effective, and I recommend them.

Love Joseph Joseph products and this chopping board set is great for dealing with a variety of ingredients when cooking.I had the original set of these, but this newer version is definitely an improvement, the rubber feet at the corner of each board really helps it grip the worktop and stay in position, also the new fish grip, and grooves on the boards really increase their usefulness.The only improvement they would make is for a larger size.

It's a quality item. Its well engineered with very few flaws. I can understand some customers complaining about the boards getting marks , but most restaurants use colour coded silicone boards (same material as these) for health and safety, using a quality knife on harder surfaces just blunts it quicker anyways. 1 star knocked off because the knife was of poor quality. I hope my review is helpful.

This is the new design and has the grooved white defrost board. Very happy with purchase and used straight away (after washing). Mine did not mark as I used a super sharp knife, but only time will tell. They are a bit on the small side, but look very neat inside the holder. I would struggle with a large amount of vegetables or a large leg of lamb to carve but they will do for everyday use.

A nice size for chopping lots of veg and larger portions of meat. 4 different boards to prevent cross contamination easy to identify by colour all housed in a silver holder which looks stylish in the kitchen. The boards do get scored quite quickly but clean up well in soapy water. The price is a little expensive for 4 chopping boards but I guess you are paying for the name.

These were a bit smaller than I expected (I should read the product details more carefully) but are well made and seem durable so far. The rack is useful, they haven't fallen over or slid across the worktop yet. My wife's initial objections were soon overcome and she has learned to like them. I thought it was a good present...

Love these chopping boards, used everyday since purchasing. Come in a very stylish holder, no loose boards falling over as you try to wedge them behind the microwave! Great size too, easy to clean and the slight raised edge stops juices running off the board and onto your feet!

I have had these boards for 3 months now and love them. I like the fact they are colour coded WITH the picture so that everyone at home knows which one is for what- no confusion there ?! They are easy to clean and looks great and tidy. Wished it was slightly larger.

Love these chopping boards, with clear symbols on what to use on them. I'm very particular on what you cut fresh meat on for example, so now everyone in the family can use the correct one! Wish they were a tiny bit bigger though.
