Mat is thin and can be rolled up for storage if required. So far I have used three times in the hot oven and with no problems ... also used as a dish cover which makes it even more useful .. for using as a base to make dough for pizza etc it could do to have been a bit bigger ... check the size is suitable for your needs..... the photo on here makes it look bigger than it is ..... dough did not stick to the silicone but I always leave dough in the fridge before using to assist with that ... easily washable and wipeable and so far has shown no sign of discoloration or "melting"So overall cannot say much against it ...but unable to comment on how how long it may last......

It's really not sticky and I like everything about it. I've used it amy times, mostly for baking in the oven. The only problem is that after cooking one batch of cookies that almost burned (my own fault), some stains remained on the mat and I haven't been able to clean them. They seem to be permanent. However, the mat still serves its purpose so I can't complain.

I have just bought an electric cooking ring.Single ring hob.Other reviewers mentioned the heat of these and how it stays hot for a while when switched off.So I bought this mat to chuck on the worktop to stand the cooking ring on and it is ideal for that.Of course I can use it for other things too.

When I opened the package I was unsure how it would wrk because it felt less flexible than the one it was replacing. I needn't have worried. It works fine and is slightly thicker than the last one I had. I knead dough on it, let the dough rise on it then pop it straight into the oven Great.

A pleasure to use, and I hear that I can bake directly on it, although I haven't yet tried it in the oven. I would consider buying a larger one, although it is big enough for most of my needs. it washes easily in the sink, and rolls up to store in a similar space to a roll of cling-film.

This does just what it promised, I use it for baking & nothing has stuck, it's so easy to wash & the colour's fab. I love it, the size is perfect for my worktop & oven shelf.
