As a bit of a Tea fanatic I am quite fussy about my teapots. This has quite a few good design features which for a budget price performs well above it's weight. Firstly I have the 1.4 litre size, this when filled fully is perfect for about 5 to 6 mugs of tea. For general use of 3 mugs I find the wide girth of the teapot ideal for tea bags to infuse as there is plenty of area around the bags and this aids brewing. As for the design, that is a personal opinion but I do find the bulbous shape quite appealing and classic. The lid fits snugly and does not fall forward when pouring, the pour is clean and at a good flow. The teapot is made in Poland by LSA who are very experienced in this type of product,

This product looks like a superstar on the kitchen table. The wood is clean and well smoothed, and it has a resounding robust feel. The dishes seem durable. Sometimes i use just the one dish, and put a pot of marmalade in the other recess. Enterprisingly, I drilled an additional hole in the plate end (I have been in a bit of a DIY spell recently), so that it could hang vertically from a hook that I installed on the side of a cupboard beside the table. You are a much more sensible person, and so will not even contemplate such an absurd idea!The slots for the toast can take both thin and/or thickly cut slices; and the toast rack looks great in the centre of the table ...

RE The 0.25 Litre Version: I needed a small jug for milk so I can decant it from those massive 4 pint bottles for coffee. This is perfect for that use. I'm sure it would also be excellent for gravy and other sauces.I do have a slight reservation about the thickness of the handle (it is rather thin) but I presume that the designers know what they are doing. Partly due to this concern and partly due to the fact I like it so much, I have just bought a second one as a spare / for use while the original is in the wash.It doesn't seem to say anywhere on this page but I can confirm that the jug is both dishwasher and microwave safe (it says so on the box).

I wasn't looking for this item,I was seeking a bog standard toast rack;but when I saw it (and the quality,and the idea) I couldn't resist it!It certainly lives up to it's description.Solid wood base, in a sort of bleached colour. Good quality porcelain butter/marmalade/jam dishes, altogether an excellent addition to the dining table.BTW,no construction is needed,just remove from the box and place the dishes in their recessesI am now browsing the LSA International Website for other top quality items.

Recently bought an espresso machine and needed some cups to serve cappucino in. Liked the look of the shape of these cups, although I was unsure if the size would be right. I am however delighted with the size, they are perfect for a medium sized drink; not the huge bucket you get in some coffee outlets and neither are thery too small. For me they are ideal. The only negative is they are a little grey in colour and not pure white but for now I can live with that!

I bought these as they were John Lewis' House porcelain for many years and now they are no longer selling them in this size. This is my everyday dinner service and as such I had a couple that had chipped and wanted to replace them. I noticed that on some of my older plates there was the LSA logo (the newer ones are stamped with the John Lewis brand). I was delighted to find these as they are the exact match for the dinner service.

At £5.50 (at time of review) per place setting, I was thinking these might now be quite up to par. I was wrong. They are a good sized setting of mug, dinner plate, tea plate and cereal/soup bowl. I expected light weight and an ‘ok’ quality and, again, I was wrong on both counts. These are finely finished and are strong enough for everyday use. Very pleased with all of the items, their quality and their price.Recommended

These plates are the perfect size for when you're trying to control your portion sizes. We use them for dinner/tea time.I have just purchased a second pack of 4 so we have enough plates for when we have visitors.They are well packaged. They don't chip easily; they've slipped out of my hands a couple of times while doing dishes, no damage.Very pleased with my purchases.

Got these as a treat to myself when all I had left were chipped, cheap old ones. They haven't disappointed – they're light, strong, and elegant. I have managed to break one of the smaller plates, but I did drop something pretty hard on it, so fair enough. Not their fault, I'll definitely replace it at some point, and would consider getting more of the range if need be.

These were exactly what I was looking for. I couldn't find these anywhere, apart from some high street stores for much more money. I bought 2 for Christmas to serve vegetables in and they are perfect. They are large enough to hold enough contents for 4, the lids keep the food warm & they look classy and modern. Definitely recommend.

Excellent price compared to usual stores such as John Lewis etc. Needed these sharpish for Christmas lunch and they arrived next day. Dishwasher safe, timeless with a simple elegance. Only slight snag is that the actual food placement space is a tad small as the rim is quite wide. That aside, would recommend.

Quality and style you can rely upon. The bowls were purchased to match up to existing LSA bowls which were purchased quite a few years ago. They are identical in both quality and style - and a pleasure to use. It is so reassuring to know that these kind of Companies continue to produce such amazing products.

Lovely design and useful little pot when using it with loose tea or one teabag. I have however had problem when using more than one teabag as the pot dribbles from the spout. I've used pyramid teabags so will try other brands. Helpful advice from LSA who said they would pass on my experience to deign team

These bowls are awesome. My teenage son likes being able to have a bowl of cereal 3 times bigger than he should in it. They dishwash well. Smart enough to mix with your posh china when you have that annoying 9th person and an 8 place china set.The only problem is that you have to buy 4 when you break 1.
