Unlike several reveiwers of this mug (c'mon 'fess up), I BOUGHT IT FOR MYSELF!! As a matter of fact, I bought 2 so that my much suffering other half could have one as well. Now, I have to point out that I am only an adult as a direct result of my having had too many birthdays. In my mind, I'm 14 year old fan of the show and have spent £100's and £100's on 'toys' (which I prefer to call 'collectables'in front of grown-ups) since the show came back in 2005. These mugs look the part and they will keep my hot drink hot whilst I'm busy wrapped in the latest adventure. The lid will stopped my dunked biscuits from falling into the tea while I'm waiting for a gap in the programme to enable me to locate my mouth..

I purchased this as a gift for my partner and he was very pleased with it, although we are both disappointed with the following aspects:1) It is rather too large and would be a lot more practical if it was a little more averagely sized for a drinking vessel. Also, the inside is square, like the outside, which makes it a little difficult to drink out of with great accuracy. I realise that a lot of people will buy it just for novelty value, but as it is sold as a mug, I do expect it to serve as such.2) The box does not state that it is dishwasher (or microwave) safe, so it is a bit of a pain having to hand wash it separately.I also feel that although the lid finishes the image of the tardis off nicely,

A great looking mug, especially with the lid on. Even if you don't like Doctor Who, u can guarantee that the mug will definitely turn some heads when being used as an actual mug. It is made from ceramic which helps to make drinks taste better when it's being used as a mug. I would also say that it's a great addition to a collection of rememeobillia or just looks great on a shelf on display. When using it I've had many compliments form people saying that it looked cool. Definitely worth it for any Doctor Who fan.The only slight downside is that it's not the most practical mug. This is because of it's square shape it's not the easiest to drink from as I found out that you have to drink from the

The TARDIS Mug itself looked wonderful, came in the official BBC box and was safely packaged up. It's certainly alot bigger than what I expected it to be. Not that this is a disadvantage, you can certainly fit several biscuits in there at once to dunk in your double-size helping of tea - the mug is that big! It will have to be hand-washed but that's a small price to pay to get a good looking mug like this one! :)I bought this as a birthday present for my friend, to go with her Fez and Doctor Who cosplay, she's a BIG fan of the show. This product will please Doctor Who fans immensely (I nearly kept it for myself) and is definitely worth the purchase!

This is a great mug not too small - which I was woried about!! all four sides are painted / designed - another thing I was worried abouut ascsomeonline fakes have only 3 sides done so I was worried.On the other hand im pretty sure that it's the real thing (it came in the official packaging aswell! ) and slightly cheaper the official one is 19.99 and like 3 for pnp so 22 odd you should buy this its great it came in 4 days even thou it says itll be here in a week - but most of my stuff comes earlier then it says anyway haha. Look wise the colours are nice and its very cool with a lid which is so cool, well I think it is :DNo regrets its lovely and highly recommended buying here!! - YOU WONT REGRET!!

I bought this as a gift for a grown-up Dr Who fan. I was a little dubious about the shape, but went with it following the other comments on this page. The new owner reports that it is usable, although does feel a little strange drinking from the corner. If you couldn't get used to it, it will make a very attractive pen pot, so don't be put off!It looks great and really is good quality. Someone posted that it's only decorated on 3 sides, but that's incorrect (certainly now) as the one I ordered is decorated on all 4 sides as you would expect.I worried that it might feel or look cheap, but it is neither and both myself and the recipient are very pleased with the finish.

I'm in love with a mug. This is one sexy TARDIS. I am a huge fan of Doctor Who and when I say that when I saw this, I needed it or I would die, well...how could I not buy it? I tried to keep my expectations manageable, you never know what kind of quality you might receive if you don't have things in your hands. I literally did a dance when I took this out of the box. It's beautiful! I would "borrow" this if I saw it sitting around. Not to mention that it fits perfectly in my coffee machine (nespresso capsule machine). I would highly recommend this for Doctor Who fans!

This is a lovely mug. I was quite surprised (and pleased) by the strong Tardis blue colour. The attention to detail is very good as it actually looks like Dr Who's Tardis! The groove is deep enough to enable the lid to sit reasonably comfortably on top of the mug. I've found this works a treat for keeping your tea or cocoa nice and warm. The handle is easy to grip and overall the mug and handle feels solid and reliable. I always hand wash items like this. It arrived very well packaged and on time. Very pleased with my purchase. I'd happily buy another.

Nice, big and heavy mug for drinking your morning brew.Pain in the bum to wash as your hand is too big to get into it to clean the nooks and crannies, unless you have small children to order about!The lid keeps your favourite beverage nice and hot for a decent length of time, however unlike the real tardis, there is not a never-ending supply or tea or coffee which i found to be a bit of a cheat!! (Damn you space time continuum!!!)Luckily no Daleks, Cybermen, Xmas Psychotic Santas, showed up to destroy me while using it.

Well executed and fine mug, a few very very very minor little color/coating smudges but nothing to get too fussy about, really. The lid is practical and keeps the tea hot and actually looks good, too. It is a perfect present for a Doctor-fan and we gave it as a birthday present to our daughter who loves using it. It is also quite decorative and could be used for storing cookies or little sweets too (as it is so wide). Packaging and delivery were great, too. Absolutely delighted about the purchase.

This mug, is beyond all doubt, one of the best items of crockery I have ever purchased.It works brilliantly, Its painted beautifully. It functions well, and is great to look at.the only complaint is that it is harder to drink out of a square mug than you would think...But lets face it, If it was round, it wouldn't be half as good!!The lid is also very nice, but can be awkward to clean!!PS: ive been using it for 3 months now, and its fine in the dishwasher.

Any Doctor Who fan will be glad to hold one of these bad boys in their hands. The design is a bit unorthodox as it is squared, making for somewhat an awkward experience sometimes if you have the mug at high angle but that can be excused given the shape of the Tardis. My only criticism is that it's not a real Tardis, but hey, who would actually think it was. Looks great and functions to a good degree. Worth the money.

This mug is a must-have for any Doctor Who fans! Unlike the other mugs I've seen which have just an image of TARDIS printed on them, this one is actually shaped like the famous time-travelling booth. Be warned that it is quite bigger than how it seems in the images, which makes it perfect for a decent tea. I'm not sure what it's made of, but it never gets too hot so it's very practical in this respect.

The mug is very nicely done. The colour is exactly as in the picture. The writings and drawings are very detailed. The mug is big but it's also very light in the hand. I don't like drinking from square cups but I had to have the Tardis mug :) And surprisingly it's very comfortable to drink from it. The lid keeps my tea warm for a long time. Perfect for winter (and any other tea-drinking season:)

I bought this for Valentines for my partner who is a huge Doctor Who fan. Arrived in plenty of time, and in good packaging, however, did check it for cracks and breakages. He was thrilled, and is a lovely gift for fans. Well crafted, detailed, it's perfect for an evening drink of hot chocolate - his personal preference. As long as he doesn't do fish fingers and custard in this, we'll be fine.
