I love champagne, and have had a fair bit of it at weekends in November and the lead up to Christmas, so, just browsing through Amazon with a search for "champagne glasses" these were among the results...I thought "Wow, these look nice" but maybe a bit dear, and discarded the idea...but it just kept coming back to me, and I had to look again, and again, until I was in love with the idea of having them, and included these in a little Amazon multi buy of various items as a treat for Christmas.From other reviews I gathered these were quality, but imagined these were larger, almost 'Pilsner' size glasses, but they are not.They are quite tall, but still dainty (not flimsy)

We have a number of glasses from this range and are always on the look out for different styles and buy extras when we are entertaining more people or when we chip one. That is why they lose one star. We love the glasses and now have eight, now down to seven of these as they chip VERY easily. The slightest touch on the drainer or allowing them to move in the dishwasher results in another glass in the bin. In order to stay with the range we NEVER let them near the dishwasher and careful wash them in a plastic bowl and drain them on a rubber mat. That way they never come into contact with the hard surface of the sink or drainer.Recommended for design and use but please be very careful with them.I do not get anything free from Amazon but often find reviews help my buying decision.

Was a little bit dubious about getting these glasses but wanted something that wouldn't be knocked over easily.I absolutely love them, they look so much more elegant than depicted.Of course they are delicate & need to be washed out immediately after use but a lot of champagne glasses are like that anyways. But if the table is knocked they won't fall over as easily as a long stemmed glass would & that's why I bought them.If you're humming & heying about buying a set I would suggest you buy them they look so much better in life than in the photo's.(also.... Just a FYI.... If your significant other says.... 'its alright I'll wash them'.... Let them! )

I think these are absolutely beautiful. Ok, so if you are paying £22 for two glasses you need to look after them, These are not in the "use every day cupboard" they have their own shelf in my kitchen with a glass front. I use them for special evenings with friends. I would never put them in the dishwasher and cleaning them by hand is fine, you just need to be careful. Do one at a time with nothing else .Yes they are fragile, but they are well worth it, the wow factor from people when they receive their glass is lovely so yes i would recommend 100%. I have a few things in the LSA range and i personally think its all great.

Where 170mls is supposed to fit is a mystery as these only hold about 140 to 145 mls.when brimfull. On a positive note, this means you get more glasses per bottle, resolving, to some extent, the cognitive dissonance that buying expensive fizz causes. They are also attractive, handmade and difficult to spill, due to the weighted bases. The rims, though, look a tad thin and would be unlikely to survive a knock over. I bought a pair and the only problems are the small base, making them easler to knock over, and the narrow bottoms which the dishwasher doesn't reach to clean, therefore needing a toothbrush to clean properly.

I ordered these glasses as a gift for my sister and brother-in-law. We noticed at the weekend that one of the glasses had a small chip around the rim, so I contacted the seller (Harts Of Sur). After only a couple of emails, one where I sent pictures of the chip, I was advised that another glass would be delivered by First Class Post. The glasses are beautiful, very ornamental, and I would defiantly purchase from the seller again because of how they have felt with this slight hiccup. Very happy customer, thank you! :)

So these have just been delivered to my house. The glasses look gorgeous and I cant wait to have friends over to enjoy our prosecco from these glasses! My one concern is one of the glasses appears to have a very visible dent / scratch in it which is worrying that it was delivered to me like that. The box was also quite dirty. Disappointing first impression but I know from the other reviews that when you get a perfect set then they are great. I have reorders a new set and I'm going to return these ones.

I chose these as they were of a different and more robust design than the classic flute. They combine style with durability and practicality (in that they are much harder to knock over and spill). I have broken a few wine glasses and flutes before whilst washing them up by hand, that does not seem like it will be an issue for these. The one negative with this purchase was the lack of a display box. Of course to those who would add them to a cabinet this will not be an issue.

I ordered the pink champagne flutes, it even shows the pink flutes on the box but when I took them out of the box they are no way pink they are clear. Oh well still nice flutes but a bit disappointed that they ain’t pink like I order and like it shows on the box it came in that’s why only 4 stars would have been 5 if was pink like I ordered. Maybe if I order the clear ones next time I might get the pink ones ?

Bought a pair for my wife for a special occasion. Unfortunately I broke one a few days after they arrived. They are lovely to look at and drink from, but just take extra care when you wash them. They have a narrow neck and so will easily topple. My advice? Wash and dry immediately and then put somewhere safe. I will have to replace and they don’t come cheap.

Beautiful glasses. So elegant and slimline...the glass is nice and 'thin', so you know you have a quality item. Very well packaged and look gorgeous. I'm sure they will be a talking point also, but I am really pleased with them. Well designed and executed. Would make wonderful gifts. Much taller than I thought they would be.

Not only is it sylish, elegant and beautiful to look at the pleasure of drinking out of it is sheer bliss.I use it every day and refuse to put it away for special occasions.I want to enjoy and experience the pleasure every time I have a glass of red wine.Absolutely recommend them.I will save up to buy 2 more.

Love the style of these glasses. Wasn't expecting them to be so tall which created a problem for me, couldn't store them in my cupboard. So had to find another space for them. But I'd recommend buying these just make sure you measure the height of the glasses and check to see if they will fit your cupboard.

great glasses look amazing just sat on the side. but they feel better than they look with the amount of weight in the bottom. The wife dropped and broke one and cried (and it wasn't spilling the wine that made her cry) so I ordered two more she likes them that much. Excellent delivery and well packaged.

These are nice glasses, although the solid lower portion of the glass is totally clear and is not as obvious as the product images.However, they are definitely not 170ml capacity: filling them to just before overflowing takes 140ml, but a more usable figure is 100-110ml (to about a cm from the rim).
