Ideal for cakes. The brand LSA seems the current (2018) go to brand in the Harrods kitchen department and it's easy to see why...This cake stand is of great quality worthy of 5 stars if only for one slight niggle/snag. It gets 4 stars and not 5 because of the circumferential lip or raised edge. This up-folding edge means when you want to cut a cake which is apparently what this cake stand is meant for, you're prevented or hampered in getting a nice cut without knocking this silly edge. If that edge weren't there or less prominent the cake stand would get 5 stars. Beats all competitors for the quality, thickness of the glass.

I have this on my kitchen counter as I love baking. Not only does it look gorgeous but it also keeps the cakes nice and fresh too. Beautiful quality and looks amazing.
