These plates look good no matter what setting you use them in. I've used them for meals with the family, dinner parties and for romantic meals with hubby and no matter what food I serve they somehow seem to make it look far more presentable than just my usual method of dolloping it out on a standard dinner plate.They feel like a high quality plate - they are heavy to pick up and feel like they would stand up to a lot of wear and tear. The finish on them is superb, the glaze is perfect with no blemishes, each plate is the exact same size and shape so they stack really well.What is nice about them is that you can just buy one or two and then add to the set as your budget allows.

I love these dinner plates. They are made from almost the finest china in the Villeroy & Boch range and are therefore thin but still sufficiently robust that they can take the odd knock and survive without damage.You can probably tell from the stock photos on site, but the plate’s surface is graduated so you have one end that is slightly deeper than the other, which lends itself nicely to taking the larger components of your meal. I have found them good for Sunday lunch, beans on toast snacks or an Eggs Benedict breakfast; simply everything you serve up just looks better on these plates.Mine go through the dishwasher without any issues, other than their shape means they fit one way better than the other.

I have been purchasing this range of V&B china for a while and quite agree it is a stunning plate, very large and a bit heavy, but it looks stunning when food is placed on it. I was fortunate enough to buy it at a 'silly' price last week. So the moral is.....keep referring to this china periodically, add bits to your wish list, and wait for the right price. Or search the internet. You can always find somewhere, including Amazon, where there is a discount. Bookmark the china.

Very Classy , I have 8 of these babies, they are stackable which is very handy , but I love them so much mine are on display on my dining table!! Everyone has had nice comments about these as very unusual in design! Prefer the plain range than the colours, as think they are more appealing, and will not date. Mugs are LUSH!! especialy with large party plates , look very posh on my dresser. Saving up for Bowls now! WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!!!

I already had two of these lovely Villeroy and Boch new wave plates, and wanted to add a further two to my china. I was so thrilled with the price, but not only that, the fact that it was free postage and packing was just amazing! The packaging was so good, far superior to anything I have received before (breakable stuff). I would certainly buy from this retailer again without hesitation. Many thanks indeed for such excellent service.

Lovely serving platter , looks gorgeous in the middle of my dining table with the large gormet plates!!!!! wish I could afford the whole set! just have to keep collecting as very worth the money and a real talking point!!!! Looks fab on the dresser too! also have the mugs and matching party plates , gorgeous too!!!!!

I have admired this design for a few years and eventually started off with 2 of these gorgeous plates. It has now become an obsession and I have 8 of these plates and 6 of all the other pieces in the set including a couple of left handed mugs. I just adore it and use it every day. Would highly recommend to anyone.

If you like pompous and pretentious presentation of olives, biscuits, a selection of cold meats and/or other nibbles or antipasti (just like I do) then this is PERFECT for you. It will not make the olives taste better, but they will look a delight on this plate. Ideal for dinner parties.

I love my beautiful plates! This is the smaller size, larger than a side plate but not quite a full dinner plate. Dimensions are correct, but obviously there is a border around the edge which reduces the size. Looks amazing when the table is set ready for dinner!

Very nice plates, the eating area seemed smaller than I anticipated, however the shape is misleading and it holds a good sized set of portions!They are quite heavy and well finished and stack nicely.

Just perfect. Great for soups, starters, small portions of pasta.Postage very reasonable. Packaged so securely and very quick delivery.Would definitely purchase from this company again.

Still eat only in them today. They are so modern and so poch. And they can sort of being used as plate when I have my wave bowl from Villeroy and Boch. Perfect
