This was bought as a Christmas present for one of my friends who is self proclaimed tea connoisseur - she particularly loved the stylish design and claims that drinking tea is now a whole new experience (what ever that means!).As it is a typical tea cup it is on the smaller side so if you are not somebody who enjoys getting up on a regular basis to make yourself a new cup or don't have a teapot than you should consider getting one of the bigger sized cups in this range.I have however on small criticism - for a premium brand such as Villeroy and Boch I would have expected the cup to come in its own little box rather than to be just wrapped in bubble wrap. You can easily get around it by buying a little gift box,

I have been purchasing the VB New Wave china for the past year, taking advantage of discounts on the internet. It is so versatile as many items can be used for different things. You can be very creative with your dinner table settings/servings with this china. The china is not cheap but searching the internet makes if more affordable.I bought this as a second jug, this is small, because it was such a silly price at the time.

I used these cups once in a restaurant and I liked them so much I wanted some. The design of the handles is really different and they are more easily held than traditional cups. They are expensive but are quality items and I know it sounds daft but I think the coffee tastes better too.

I love Villeroy and Boch tableware and the New Wave range is particularly stylish. This pot is a reasonable size and of good quality. My only gripe is that as it is a sugar bowl / jam pot, I feel it should have a little hole in the side of the lid in which to place a spoon.

It is very small, and my fault for not buying the 35ml size or paying copious amounts of money for the cup. I like it, though, and the effort of returning was far too great, and holds enough liquid for me. The design is sophisticated and the colour a delicate cream.

These tiny espresso cups are lovely, but I was disappointed that they came merely wrapped in bubble wrap, I expected them to come boxed being V&B and the price, they were not described as seconds or replicas so I assume they are genuine.

superb quality bowls which can be used for soup, cereal etc.The only problem is that with the wonderful design the bowls dont stck up on each other so a lot of room required!Have purchased 4 and they look great very stylish!

lovely design. very difficult to gauge the sizes however. really wanted a smaller cup and then my third try arrived which are also wrong size...keeping them because we like them anyway. Have given up trying!

initially thought these cups looked a bit on the small size but they are fine & I'm very pleased with them - can also stack them which is useful

I love these new mugs and keep showing them off I will definitely buy the cups next. I bought the saucers and they also are top quality.

exceptional design, my wife's favourite. serves soup or cereals and has adequate volume for either.
