What can I say, life is better with a green butter dish :) - less mess, less stickiness and less butter everywhere. I am more than happy with this purchase. I've had this butter dish for a year now, and it has never annoyed me once (in terms of design). I love the colour - I'm a sucker for green things, and this butter dish is a very nice shade of green (picture is very accurate in this sense).One thing you might be interested in as a potential customer is that the dish has a tiny edge on the inside of the lid (which keeps the lid from falling and the butter from slipping). Since the product has no pictures without the lid, you don't get to see how the inside looks like, and that's why I'm mentioning it.

I spent ages trying to find a plain and simple butter dish. Would have liked the bottom part to have been a bit more modern in design. The top part is frosted and semi transparent so you can see how much butter is left without taking the lid off. The lid is a bit rough in texture so easy to grasp. I like plastic butter dishes better than glass or ceramic versions as it won't chip, doesn't make awful noise when mishandled by various family members and is much cheaper! I'm going to keep looking for the perfect design for my decor, but in the meantime this does the job well.

Rather than put olive oil spread on table, it looks much better in this butter dish. Plus dishwasher proof and no colour fading. The lid fits well and it kind of reminds me of the butter dishes from my childhood.A basic design that just works, got the red one to go with kitchen and at least now the family know where to find the spread in the fridge.Know it is meant for butter, but spread fits into it just as well.update. Have had this in the dishwasher quite a few times now and comes out like new and no colour fade.

I decided that I needed a butter dish as my previous butter dish was in the bin due to it breaking and no longer being a butter dish. When this butter dish arrived at my house I immediately put it to the test by placing some butter in the butter dish. It fit perfectly and I could even get the lid to the butter dish to fit just as perfectly. All in all it's just a feckin' butter dish! How can one be expected to write a review about it?

I didn't think I would be excited enough to review a butter dish but I am. I really like this. Beautifully designed. Every detail has been thought through. A little non slip lip to stop the lid from moving about. 250g butter fits perfectly. Easy to pick up and hold. I have arthritis but manage this very well. Easy to wash. Top is simple to take off and hold as not slippery. Everything about it is perfect for me.I bought 2.

It's a butter dish. It's a PLASTIC butter dish! It's high quality plastic, with a quality design and finish! Looks great and the lid fit is just perfect. Just one niggle - It's not quite the same shape as the average butter patt in the UK, but so long as you are okay with just loading it up with half a patt at a time, then it's perfect! Having bought this I'm now looking at other Koziol brand products!

butter is awesome, hard butter is terrible, the butter left in the paper wrapping stuff just well, the paper warpping stuff ruins it, and now we in summer for sure, random flies do get in and want to protect my butter, so this is exactly what i need, and more awesomely, in the color i wanted it, they had a ncie selecton of colours, the quality is great, does what its supposed too,

I bought this butter dish a while ago now and use it constantly.The colour is a good red, with a solid red base and transparent red lid. This isn't really obvious from the picture, but it is handy, because you can see how much butter you have left through the lid.It easily fits a full 250g block of butter.Other than that, it looks good - a friend of mine wants one too!

I bought this to match my red-themed kitchen. I spent a lot of time reading reviews and finally decided to buy this one. It looks lovely on the worktop next to my red kettle, toaster etc. I bought two but this is because no matter how robust a product is, my husband will find a way to break it, therefore I will have a spare. To be fair, he is good at mending things too.

This butter dish is cheap and cheerful,this statement is not intended to be derogatory.I feel it is as robust as it needs to be,it was not expensive,is easy to clean and is just big enough to store a pack of butter without the butter touching the sides or top.Simple product which for me does what it was intended for.Represents EXCELLENT value for money.

Great butter dish, lovely colour makes it easy to find on my kitchen bench. The lid sits really well on the dish. It has a raised edge around the bottom dish thus creates an excellent seal, helps keep the butter in the dish. I have dropped this butter dish lid on tiled floor on quite a few occasions & it has never cracked. Good quality & Easy cleaned.?

Top of butter dish is transparent and base is solid colour. Is a textured plastic. Washes easily. Can hold a large amount of butter a 5oog packet easily fits. We only cut a quarter piece at a time and leave the rest in the fridge as we don't use butter everyday and dont want it to go off, its healthier than margarine and pretend butter.

I really like the design and look of this butter dish and it feels sturdy. Be warned that even though the bottom is opaque, the lid is transparent so you can see the butter inside. I actually like this feature, but we keep it in the cupboard, it may look a bit messy if you wanna keep it on your counter. Personally I would recommend.

Butter dishes don't seem to have much of a life span in my household, and my partner had already thrown out the old one before I could repair it.This one has a white plastic base and clear top; it looks cheapish, but it does the job and seems to survive the dishwasher - so that is as much as I can ask.

Clean lines, robust, easy to clean (love that it goes in the dishwasher) and easy to spot in the fridge or wherever else it's been left. Also feels safe in the hand due to a bit of texturing on the base and lid. Why isn't everything this simple and yet so well engineered, designed and manufactured?!!
