This is one of those items that you can't really go wrong with. It's pressed metal... no moving parts or electronics to go wrong.The finish is excellent. I can put my standard slab of Irish or New Zealand butter in it, pop the lid on and it's safe from flies going walkabout in my favoured yellow dairy product.I see no reason this should last many years. The metal is thick and it feels nice a sturdy. The handle is secure. Not much else to say really!

Some cheaply made stainless steel products can be very flimsy but this butter dish isn't one of them. Though light in the hand it still has a good weight to it, which suggests better quality. I enjoy using this dish and have noticed that it takes a 250gm block with room for a quarter of a block more, useful if you want a clean dish but haven't quite used up all the butter in the dirty one.

The quality and finish corresponds with what's shown on the photo.Cover/lid seems to be of a slightly thicker gauge stainless steel than that of the base.The base has some sharp edges which are not pleasant to the touch. These should have been rounded off a little more during production.What more can I add. Fits a standard regular block of butter!Comes with one year warranty.

Although this is only a butter dish I would have expected better quality metal. But as it's not made in Sheffield, or Germany or even Japan, where metal working is more often top quality, this item is disappointing.It'll do, and I won't buy another even if I find a better quality one on offer, but a warning that other foreign manufacturers' standards may not be as high as mine!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I had been searching the shops for quite some time to find a simple butter dish such as this. It also prevents the butter from becoming too soft. and having a little handle on the top makes it easier to lift the lid unlike my old butter dish. It can be put in the dishwasher without getting tarnished or scratched.

A very nice product, delivered quickly to my door and in perfect condition.I am now able to impress my friends with my classy butter dish - which did not go unnoticed by the ladies might I add.I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to make their butter that bit more presentable whilst also separating the men from the boys.

Simple, straightforward, perfect for the job. Having broken 2 ceramic butter dished I wanted something more durable. This is perfect. Nothing flashy but looks good nonetheless. Accommodates a normal block of butter no problems. Have washed it in a dish washer several times and it looks as good as new. Recommended.

This is a practical, useful butter dish, one that I won't ever have to worry about breaking or chipping. It easily holds a 250g block of butter and is deep enough that the inside of the lid doesn't get smeared with butter. Inexpensive, brilliant product. Great value for money. I am happy with this little purchase!

It's a great butter dish and unexpectedly keeps the butter cool in hot weather, still spreadable but not a melted mess when you've left it out on the table or kitchen side. Can't fault the price or the look of it. Ok it's only pressed stainless steel but it has an aire of quality about it.

Solid butter dish, slightly longer than the standard butter size which is convenient to slice off butter from the edge. The lid is heavier than the base which confused me a little but when their is butter in the dish, it balances out the weight of each. The edges are smoothed out.

It's a butter dish. It's a place to keep butter, and it does it's job well. I put butter in it and it was still there the next day. It's also stainless steel.If you want somewhere to put your butter and you're a fan of stainless steel - this product is perfect for you.

Good quality product, nice materials, nicely weighted.Most importantly fits a block standard anchor butter which some other items do not.Also after a number of the ceramic ones breaking due to slippage, its nice to know that if this gets oily and slips, it will be ok

Love this butter dish .Better than expected nice and light as well so will not slip out of hand easy as ceramic ones are to heavy .won't break like ceramic ones and won't crack like plastic ones .Holds the butter bar well and not to small either .Would recommend .

This butter dish is a good size, holds a full block of butter. However, the lid is not a snug fit, also it is much lighter weight than I'd hoped for the money. One negative, it is polished steel and shows every little finger mark - needs constant cleaning.

Looked for ages for an inexpensive S/S butter dish to sit on the table. We do not tend to put out a full pack of butter at one go, this can be used and then go through a rapid wash to be used again. Its smart, its light weight and keeps the butter fresh.
