Picked these up because I needed some new drinking glasses following a couple of breakages and thought that they looked attractive.First thing to say is that they come well packaged in 2 cardboard boxes with paper packing wrap in the outer box and each glass in its own segment within the second box and wrapped in bubble wrap and tissue paper. As a result, even though the outer box had taken a bit of a beating on the way to me, the glasses themselves were perfectly fine. Each glass has a pattern etched on it with 16 carat gold and each glass has its own design, which is a nice touch as it means you can easily keep track of your own glass if there are a group of you and each glass holds about 500ml.I liked the curvy shape and they feel nice in the hand when you hold them, plus they have a bit of weight to them.My only real criticism is that there are no instructions either on the packaging or within the box regarding their care. I have put them in the dishwasher without any problem so far but given that gold is a soft metal, I would expect the gold design to erode or fade at some point - so you may want to keep this in mind unless you don't mind hand washing them each time after use.All in all I'm pretty happy with them and would buy from the manufacturer in future.

I’m reviewing the set of four stemless wine glasses, rather than any of the other eight variants which have been placed under the same product heading. These are fairly decent glasses, in what feels like a generous size (16.5oz) which allows you to swill around and hand-warm a good guzzle of everyday red wine at a time. They can easily be used as tumblers, as the glass is of a reasonable thickness and not thin like fine wine glasses, but even so I’m going to keep them away from my young kids for a while yet.The designs and patterns are fun enough, but don’t stand up to much examination, and subjectively I think the gold effect is a little tacky, looking akin to cheap jewellery rather than genuine classiness. On the set we got, the gold paint has a few minor flaws even straight out of the box, and that’ll only gradually get worse with use. They’re quite satisfying to hold in the hand, but they fall between ‘everyday glasses’ and ‘posh glasses’ and don’t end up quite fulfilling either function (at time of writing I’d say that’s true for their pricing as well). Other glasses in the range probably make a bit more sense in that respect. Great glasses for a party, maybe?

These champagne flutes are the most beautiful items I have seen. They would be perfect for Christmas with their gold detail or even for a wedding or just because they are lovely to enjoy a glass of prossecco out of.The packaging was the best I have seen for glassware as you can see by my photograph. Wrapped in a high quality white tissue and then bubble wrapped. Sectioned off individually for protection as well. The cardboard box was sturdy and would withstand slight crushes. The packaging itself was artistic and tasteful. The flutes were a high quality glass with a long stem which made them even more beautiful. If you are thinking of buying as a gift then these are perfect because everythingabout them oozes quality.Highly recommended.

Stemless wine glasses struck me as a novelty worth investigating given their neat gold designs (all different) to determine WHOSE glass is which and who boozes the most. These are rather neat and , despite the possibility of containing half a bottle of wine per glass , have distinct possibilities.Half fill to enable the wine to breathe , great for a mega G+T , also good for juices for the non alcoholics. So style , quality , something different for that intimate party or small family celebration. For the ultimate test I passed them to “the management” who , despite our groaning glasses cupboard , gave them an unequivocal thumbs up.Will report in due course as to how the gold designs stand up in use (including the dishwasher)

This set of four Champagne flute glasses comes beautifully presented in a snugly fitted box that will be so easy to wrap should you want to give them as a present. Each glass has a modern design in a rich gold finish so it would be easy to remember which one was being used by a particular guest or family member, even with this variation they still work as a set. They have long stems and each of the glasses give that little ring that only quality glass will, great for toasting a special occasion. When not being used these will look great in a display cabinet and are more contemporary than cut glass flutes, perfect engagement gift and well priced.Looking forward to using ours on Christmas table.

(This is a review for the gold champagne flutes)This is a lovely high-quality set of glasses. They are made of thick and heavy glass and exude a quality that makes you thing they cost a lot more than they actually do. They also hold a decent amount of fizz! The designs are fun without being cheesy or cheap-looking, and of course make it easy to keep track of which glass is yours at a party. The packaging is robust and attractive too, the glasses arriving unbroken. If you're worried about giving them as a gift you can open the box and inspect them, and then reseal it without giving the game away - just pay attention as you open the box.Great glasses, at a good price.

These glasses are lovely. They are quite weighty and bulbous to hold in a good quality way and are decorated beautifully in gold patterns. The patterns are different on each of the four glasses. They include spots, horizontal, vertical and curved line designs. The designs are reminiscent of the wonderful eye catching vintage glasses of the 1950’s/1960’s. I have placed them in my cabinet as they form an attractive feature and are a wonderful addition to anyone’s collection, if you are particular about your glassware. They come in a box of four, well packaged and nicely presented. They are securely and tightly packed, so handle with care when opening.

These champagne flutes with their gold trim remind me of the tumblers my parents had as a wedding gift at the end of the Sixties, and which we used as children through the Seventies and Eighties - and I think my parents have them still, to be honest, as we were very careful children! Each glass has a different pattern, which is great for keeping track of your drink at parties, and is in the traditional champagne flute style, which helps keep the bubbly bubbly.A nice weight, these are a stylish addition to my home, and I look forward to bringing them out on celebratory occasions.

The only way these glasses could be any cooler, would be if they came pre filled. They are a good size, fairly hard wearing even as you get less sober, and they look great. I immediately had the spotty one stollen by my other half and have yet to use it now as it's her favourite glass. We have even, once, tried something non alcoholic in them, which was also OK... To be honest I think it was mostly the glasses. Even makes Coke feel like champagne. Warning, may invoke spontaneous arguments over who gets the spotty one... Don't worry, the others are cool too. ;)

These glasses are great quality. However, upon opening the box, one of the stems was broken (which surprises me because they seem quite strong and durable). The seller was quick to replace them for me. Overall, a great buy and good customer service!Update: I’ve since purchased the white wine glasses and champagne flutes. All have lasted the entire time very well - I’ve only chipped the rim of one martini glass, which was my fault. I handwash all of them, as I never put stemware in the dishwasher. Overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchases.

These stemless wine glasses are really unusual - each one has a different gold design, which looks quite striking and is great for making sure everyone knows which glass is theirs. They look as though they'd be quite chunky feeling, but in fact they still feel like fancy delicate wine glasses. They'll hold a good amount of liquid (590ml), and because they're stemless, are less likely to be knocked over in a busy party setting. They come well packaged in a nice box, which makes them ideal for giving as an unusual and really lovely gift.

These glasses are beautiful and I bought them for a friend's birthday - unfortunately though, I wrapped them without looking at them all (I just took one out to check it) and when she unwrapped them, one of the stems was broken. there is no button on this order for me to contact the seller so i can't ask for a replacement. therefore, ensure you check all of the glasses when you receive them especially if you're gifting them. Apart from my silly mistake - they are perfect for the job and look great.

Very classy glasses. Beautifully made. Real attention to detail - even in the packaging. Sticky labels easily came off with water. Fit nicely into the presentation box. They look lovely and are quite large. I think you might even get about half a bottle of wine in each. So obviously you are meant to pour a small amount of red wine into them and enjoy the bouquet. Because they are so large, they will be great for juice. They make you feel like you are at a party. Very nice design. Quality!

This is a set of four glass champagne flutes which for the most part, are reasonably simplistic in their design. However, they have a very attractive and understated gold design etched into the glass of each flute, which I think makes them look quite sophisticated. Each flute is also different, given a sense of uniqueness.Unfortunately, the flutes are not dishwasher safe but this is not unexpected - very few (if any) champagne flutes are suitable for washing in the dishwasher.

Love these glasses. I’ve added them to my collection of other Mikasa Cheers wine and gin glasses. Yes they are very delicate but that’s one of the things I like about them. If you are heavy and clumsy, want to throw them around a sink when you wash them and push them against ice machines forget it. However, if you like nice things and appreciate something delicate, these are lovely. They just feel nice to hold and to drink from. - as well as looking great!
