This is a good little game if you know how to take it. It’s no BoTW or Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It’s also far from the best you’ll see come from anything associated with Square Enix but what it is is a great little RPG that you can play in handheld without needing to kill your Switch’s battery or give 23 out of your 24 hours in a day. The battle system is a little too deep for what it is but frankly you can get by more than well enough with basics anyway. It’s a very linear game but that makes it quick to play with it’s autosave function and many save points scattered throughout the game. The negative reviews I read for this game seem to be people not quite being able to understand that’s it’s

I was a little hesitant to try this game as i knew nothing of it, but i loved it!It's not a traditional turn based game which i loved. I didn't find the battle mechanics that comfusing. You get A LOT of play time out of it. The art style is great, the areas and world design was fantastic, the music is beautiful, i loved it! I also did not use the seemingly recommended set up but mostly beat it okay, so on that noteMy only downsides were, towards the end there was a major spike in difficulty, a lot of the post game stuff was impissible for me. But also, there were a few bosses but two in particular that were very broken. One i was stuck on for about 30-45 minutes as it kept full healing,

Lost Sphere is a blend of the very familiar but enough features that it feels new. The battle system is great and diverse enough so it doesn't feel cumbersome during the game, but definitely useful for the end game. The story is engrossing and you wont feel short-changed at the end. Comparisons to Zelda, Xenoblade, Chrono Trigger etc are completely unfounded. Lost Sphear was never intended to be a huge blockbuster title with an unlimited budget, nor does it pretend to be. It is a deeply engrossing game that suits the nature of the Switch very well; a casual JRPG that you can pick up and play without ever feeling overwhelmed. If you enjoy the genre,

Good enough JRPG with a decent battle mechanic. The usual tropes become clear quite quickly.The Food system is odd because foods only work for one battle. Save the ones with good HP UP for boss fights, they can make all the difference.The Over-world in interesting with no random battles so exploring is easy. You get a very unique mechanic as a reason to explore.The characters are ok but veterans will have met this lot a thousand times before. It is almost a parody. Same for the 'baddies'.

Just like the final fantasy games of old you travel this strange world gaining experience as you beat enemies and choosing your team from a collection of warriors you meet along the way. On normal this game is terribly hard, however is very playable on easy. Great fun and lovely graphics. Perfect for the switch

A fantastic JRPG. Battle system is as deep as you want it to be and its a bit of an odd party set up however a good little story with great artwork and fantastic music.35 hours to complete so not the longest but certainly worth the current proce tag.

Game played in English after updating to newest version. Was also cheaper than the digital version on the Nintendo eShop.
