This was my very first Anti Fatigue primer as over the years I've stuck with either matte primers or pore reducing primers due to having quite an oily complexation. Over the years however, I felt that my primer needs had changed and that these matte/smoothing primers were causing my skin to dry out and making my skin look rather tired and dull. So after deciding to try this new primer, I was a little shocked at how different it was to my others. At first glance I was horrified to see a bright orange/reddish colour and I was worried about looking like an extra from Willie Wonker's chocolate factory. Fear not though, as once the primer is smoothed into the skin, all traces of any colour seem to vanish.

This primer is just what I needed to brighten my skin's complexion and make it look less dull and tired. It's apricot coloured pigment really gets to work once it is applied by enhancing and brightening my natural skin colour & making my face look so much more 'alive'! I love how lightweight the primer is upon my skin, it just glides on whilst not feeling greasy which is an added bonus and it allows my skin to breathe. To boot the primer left my skin feeling very smooth and moisturised throughout the day and it allowed my makeup to sit perfectly all day long as well. In fact the primer extended my make up wear and allows my foundation to sit flawlessly upon my face without hardly any effort required.

This primer does everything a primer is meant to do and more. I'd long given up on using any priming product as none of them seemed to work on my skin, instead making the foundation roll off in clumps on application, but this one is brilliant. It goes on quite a bright tangerine colour, which is a bit of a shock, but blends in with a little effort and time. I use a little of L'Oreal Glow Drops on top and then apply L'Oreal's Infallible Sculpt Foundation and it makes my skin look amazingly healthy and covers imperfections really well. I use a setting spray anyway but I have noticed that my make up stays on even better than before with the primer.

I have really oily prone skin, so was looking forward to trying a new mattifying primer. This primer comes in a handy pump bottle which is better to dispense than a tube, but be careful it's a lot thinner liquid than expected. I was worried applying it as it felt very moisturising on my skin and I was thinking this isn't going to Matt my oily skin, but surprisingly after a short while it did dry into my skin and did Matt it. I didn't rate this the full stars as it kept my checks and chin matted all day but my forehead and nose started to get oily again after about 4/5 hours. I feel it can Matt slightly oily skin but I feel if you have really oily skin you would need to reapply or use oil absorbing sheets after a few hours if you want longer oil free skin.

Whether you want to blur wrinkles, mattify, minimise the appearance of pores or even out skin tone, primers do this whilst creating a perfect base for make-up and helping it to stay put for longer. Yes, it might take a minute longer to apply another layer every morning as part of your beauty routine, but it's the difference between your make-up sliding off by noon and it staying put until the end of the day. And wouldn't you consider that a minute well spent? Once you start using it you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.

So this arrived just before I left for a holiday to Mexico, thought I’d take it along and try it out in the evenings. Now I don’t wear foundation at all on holiday as my skin goes brown quickly but I decided to try the primer on its own and I was very impressed with the glow it gave my skin, not over the top glittery glow but a subtle healthy sheen! Great primer that melted very quickly into my skin, no sticky residue and no sickly smell. I tried this under my usual foundation when I got home and it held the makeup very well all night, no patchy skin at all! I have recommended this to my sister as she suffers from dull skin. Lovely range from L’Oreal and I will definitely buy this again.

Mattifying L’Oreal Infallible Primer is amazing: it is super easy to apply, it leaves even and silky-smooth skin and it makes foundation blend super easily. I have combination / oily skin but this primer works really well in controlling oily areas and making me look matte and even. The best part is that it stays on for the whole day prolonging make up wear and keeping me oil free. I have used it with different foundations and it worked really well with all of them. Simply the best primer for evening out red tones in your skin including neutralising the angry red tones in spots I found this worked so well for me and made my foundation sit better on my skin after using the primer and gave a flawless,smooth finish.This primer is also great for those who suffer with Roseca to help even the redness which this condition causes in suffered.This primer comes with a pump dispenser which means no product goes to waste.I also found a little goes a long way which is great as it means it’ll last longer.
