I got this for my wife and here is what she thought of it: This is one of the best foundations I have tried so far. Always used L'Oreal True Match and even if over the last 5 years I have tried other new up and coming foundations including other ones from L'Oreal, I always return to that one. Now that I have this new Infallible 24h fresh wear one, I will be changing to this one. It has a better coverage and not that I have major issues to cover, but the whole point in using foundation is to get an even tone of your skin so this definitely does the job without giving a "mask" look. So you still look fresh, the texture is still light enough to make your skin look natural. The good range of colours available will definitely give you a hand getting the right one for you and the fact the names match the True Match range made it easy peasy. When you apply it it blends easily on your skin though it doesn't stretch a long way when you apply using a brush like I am but that is what it gives is a better coverage I guess, the fact that is kind of sticky to start with. On the skin it feels light and doesn't give you a feeling of having lots on. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because even if it does last all day, it has great coverage and great range of colours to chose from, I didn't find it to be transfer proof. I wear glasses so I can immediately see that it goes on the frame a little print from my nose when I put them on even if I apply their own powder as well on top to fix it. Also I know my skin type is mixed so I did notice that with this foundation it does get like an oily feeling on my nose when I touch it and on my finger I can see the foundation. Also this is something I didn't used to get with my previous foundation so I guess it might be the gel-formula? No idea what it is, but I still feel this is a great product. Also if you don't mind getting some powder with you in your bag and reapply now and again if you know you have oily skin complexion, then this is the perfect foundation for all day wear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shadeWhen I was asked to try Infallible Liquid Foundation from L'Oreal Paris, Unforunately the palest shade was not available - so I went with second best of 'rose beige'. I often find it difficult finding a brand that cater for such pale skin, so was a little worried it may be too dark for me. I was extremely surprised to find this shade was almost perfect, as it appears much darker in the bottle than on the skin! I would high recommend testing the shade paler that you think you are. This particular shade, although named 'rose beige' had a neutral undertone, with hint of yellow.ApplicationThe handy bottle application means using small amounts at a time,so not to waste more than you really need. I applied 2-4 squirts to the back of my hand, and used a stippling brush to dip into the foundation and buff into my face and neck. I used 2 more pumps to apply over problem areas for added staying power.First ImpressionsI was so happy with how beautifully the foundation applied over my face. It covered any redness on my cheeks and around my nose, evened out my purple/blue undereye area and made my pores appear smaller. The texture applied wet and turned into a velvet powder to the touch.CoverageThe coverage from the get-go is medium to full, and is definitely buildable. It's by no means 'fake' looking like most medium to full coverage foundations, and is actually extremely natural and wearable for throughout the day aswell as for a night event.Staying PowerHaving worn the foundation for a full day, the staying power isn't quite 24hr but I do think it's a good 8hrs if you don't often touch your face! There was no sliding off my face, no smudging, just a little rubbed away where the stresses of the day have beat me.Overall I think this is a fantastic foundation, and I wold definitely purchase. I will purchase two shades and combine them to create the perfect match.

At first I really didn't like the way this looked on my dry skin, but after exploring different primers and application methods (fingers, different brushes & various sponges) I've come to really like it; if you have dry skin I've found this foundation to look and wear best applied using a damp beauty blender over a non-mattifying primer.Applied in the way that works for me, I have no complaints with this foundation; it comes in a wide shade range for a single-figure (£8) drugstore brand - 25 shades, various base tones (there's going to be 50 shades by early 2019). It gives flawless medium-to-full coverage that lasts the entire day, and I've not experienced any oxidation, transfer or cakiness.I don't go for heavy coverage all of the time, but I reach for this when I know I'll have a busy day and won't get time for touching up my makeup - this is a reliable option, that I'm happy enough with to not want to bother looking for a different full- coverage foundation option.first I really didn't like the way this looked on my dry skin, but after exploring different primers and application methods (fingers, different brushes & various sponges) I've come to really like it; if you have dry skin I've found this foundation to look and wear best applied using a damp beauty sponge over a non-mattifying primer [I like dampening my sponges with primer water or fixing spray].Applied in the way that works for me, I have no complaints with this foundation; it comes in a wide shade range for a drugstore brand. The important thing about foundation is to get your shade right. Get it slightly wrong and it will look unnatural. Get it really wrong and you'll just look odd. Which is why this range from L'Oreal, with it's wide and subtle range of skin tone matches, is so good. And if you take it to the next level with blending between bottles your palate essentially becomes limitless! The feedback I received for this product is as follows, and a selection of different tones was tested for the review:Paris Infallible is slightly thinner than some cream foundations but it still covers very well and can easily be layered if needed, without any problems occurring.Applied with a beauty sponge and worked in properly it gives a smooth and consistent finish that looks very good and lasts well. The bottle is a good size and the pump dispenser is a real bonus, making application simple and mess-free.It's good to try a range of tones to find the one that suits you best. Remember too that skin colour changes over the seasons, and also in different light conditions. So having a selection of subtle colour variations of the product on hand rather than just one, is preferable. Some skin types can create problems with foundation, and if you have trouble with skin drying, pore issues, or getting a good finish, it's recommended you try applying a primer first. Work the foundation in carefully and apply a setting powder once you've completed everything. Those steps ought to help solve the issue. So, overall this is a good product that comes in a wide choice of skin tones, and gives a great finish that lasts well. It earns a five star recommendation.

I’m not great at make-up, much as I would like to be. My routine is quite simple - on most days it’s just a moisturiser and then my foundation. But even with that, I often have a hard time finding a foundation that blends well on my skin, looks natural and doesn’t wear off during the day.The first thing I noticed about this particular foundation was how well it blended on my skin. It’s water based, which will obviously determine whether it will work alongside your chosen moisturiser. Pressing the dispenser gives you just the right amount of foundation for a natural looking coverage (I gave it one and a half to two pumps when I was going for an evening look). And as I said, it blended well on my skin, leaving a smooth complexion and no patches.I chose Ivory for my fairly pale, blonde skin. This is the colour/shade that I have used previously and with other brands, so I would suggest you stick to the colour you would naturally choose if going for this foundation.I’m going to be honest that I haven’t tested the claim that it lasts 24 hours - and I’m unlikely to ever need it to last a whole 24 hours - but it does last a work day with ease and I don’t look shiny or washed out when I arrive home.At the end of the day, it washes off my skin well and with ease. This is a really good foundation and one that I will likely continue to use once this bottle runs out. At £10.99 (at the time of my review) I feel you get good value for money and it gives a nice, even coverage that’s natural and easy to blend. 5 stars from me.

L’Oréal INFALLIBLE 24hr Freshwear Make-up in 'LINEN' - Shade 100I have always worn Foundation and here we have a new one from L'Oréal in their 'Infallible' Collection1st Impressions:-• Smart presentation with a dark red cap that is tamper-proof sealed. This cap fits securely.• Pull back the label strip and there you have the List of Ingredients.• Pull off the cap and you will see the method of dispensing the product is a push down top.In Use:-• I always apply foundation with my fingers. I am not adept at using sponges and suchlike and I think fingertip application is gentler on an older skin and reduces drag and stretching the skin.• Press down the applicator top and a good amount of the foundation is dispensed.I would advise it to be put on your hand at first use so you can see the consistency of the make-up.• The consistency is fairly liquid and I found it very easy to apply, by dotting over the various facial zones and then smoothed and blended over my skin.• Coverage is EXCELLENT and it gives a lovely smooth finish and evens out the skin.• I am white English, and reasonably pale. This 'LINEN' shade is just perfect for me.• I had no adverse or allergic reaction to this make-up. My skin felt very comfortable and flexible – no tightness at all.• This make-up does last all day+ and was easy enough to remove come bedtime. At time of writing this Review the RRP is £10.99 and in my opinion this is a great price for an excellent product.

Wifes review:- This is now my favourite foundation, and I'm so pleased I got to review it, otherwise I might not have noticed it among the multitude of competing products out there!I like the pump action bottle which delivers a small amount at a time and isn't as 'hit or miss' as squeezing a tube. The consistency is quite thin, but that makes it perfect for applying on my sponge and layering more where I need extra coverage. I find some thicker foundations are difficult to manage as you can easily end up with a pancake look and I prefer mine to look natural. The porcelain shade is perfect for my pale complexion, and I am pleased to see that there is a huge range of shades from very light to dark,so everyone should be able to find one to suit. The claims that it is long lasting are amazingly true...I applied it in the morning for a trip to see friends and even though it was cold and I wore a scarf, it didn't rub off, and still looked good hours later, so no need for touch ups. It also feels good, not powdery or greasy, very light and smooth as though I have bare skin, which is unusual in my experience. Lastly I am very impressed with the price, especially for such a good make, I have spent a small fortune on foundation, so it is a nice surprise to find this one is so cheap yet so good. I will use it from now on, and have already recommended it to my friend who asked what I was using, as she noticed the difference!

I was sent this product free of charge in order to test it and write an honest and appropriate review. I received the foundation and before trying it I was a little concerned that it looked rather orange in the bottle. However I need not of worried as the colour was perfect once applied. The applicator is a pump action and it doesn’t deliver too much at one go which was excellent. I found the foundation goes quite a long way and spreads easily but you do need to move fast as it dries pretty quickly. Within a couple of uses I’d got the hang of it and it gave great coverage with a lovely summer glow colour and no steak lines. I’m of average white complexion and this suited me very well. There are two absolute highlights for this foundation. One being that it stays put all day and well into the evening. The second being that it feels very light on your skin. It’s described as being breathable and that exactly how it feels. I’ve worn it on very hot days when makeup has a tendency to ‘run’ and I felt comfortable and no issues with the foundation sliding off. In fact the last three times I’ve worn it I haven’t used powder to seal it and it’s still stayed in place and looking good. I’d definitely recommend this foundation and it’s one I would use again without hesitation. I’ve also not experienced any affect to my skin after using it, so no spots or greasy areas. All in all an excellent foundation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive my free Infallible Liquid Foundation from L'Oreal Paris to try and wasted no time in washing my face and slapping it on!I am prone to some redness in my skin tone and the beige foundation covered tis really well and evened out my skin tone well. The foundation as thicker than products I usually use - I tend to use really light things as I don't like the feeling of my skin being clogged. This didn't feel at all heavy on my skin and felt really nice with a good even coverage. The only slight drawback I found was that as I am 45 I have slight lines around my eyes and mouth, and especially at the eye area I thought this was accentuated when the foundation was on.The skin under my eyes seemed to look older :-(Apart from that I loved it! I also think that that could be because I am not used to using any thick foundation and that it would happen with any.I used my usual bronzing powder on the top and it worked well and blended easily.I am not sure I would use foundation each day (because of the 'old eye' thing!), but if I was to do so, I would definitely feel happy to use the Infallible Liquid Foundation again. The packaging is appealing and looks classy, and the pump dispenser is easy to use and clean. If you like foundation, I suspect you would love this!Alex

THIS IS THE BEST FOUNDATION THERE IS!!!I’ve used Nars, Giorgio Amarni, Estée Lauder, Mac & more! Don’t get me wrong Nars is an amazing one too, but this is so much cheaper and is amazing. I’ve added it to my subscribe and save! This foundation is dewy, natural and glowing, the best thing is that it is buildable! I have dry and acne prone skin, I have been suffering with some acne around my chin and cheek area and honestly it’s a nightmare finding a foundation. Matte is way too dry and makes cracks in my skin, as-well as looks super cake-y and the acne just looks horrible! I tried this on a whim, but it’s ended up being my favourite foundation! I love it just as much as I love Nars.I don’t buy Nars anymore, I always buy two colours of this, one for when I’m for tanned and one light! And sometimes even mix them together. A tip: Aldi have a skin cream called caviar and it’s amazing! It also works as a brilliant makeup base, so I put that on and then I use honey dew primer by NYX and then I put this on with a foundation brush! As you can see the foundation is just so lush. I don’t use any powder or do any baking! Only use bronzer for contour and concealer. HONESTLY!!! I can not recommend this ENOUGH! I really urge you to try this, it’s not that much and it’s such a great foundation. I can’t stop raving about it! I’m on my 6th bottle!

This foundation does definitely last well, ive no idea if it lasts 24 hours as im never awake that long and im not sleeping in foundation to check it!This colour (20 Ivory) is slightly too orange for my pasty skin, it looks like ive tried to apply some wierd fake tan (i really am that pale). This foundation is an odd combination of see through but slightly mask like, in that it does even out skin tone, but i can still see blemishes through it! I actually like a full coverage foundation, the reason i wear foundation is i dont want to see my skin and all its blemishes (i dont wear make up at any time except nights out, i dont hate the way i look or anything). This foundation would probably be more suitable for day wear for me.This foundation has a nice smell! ive never encountered that before, it smells nice, not a strong smell but if you are smearing it under your nose you are going to smell it. Its smells fresh and vaguely flowery. Its also quite thin in texture so be careful when you use the pump dispenser, you might end up with more than you expected. This foundation gives a natural slight sheen type look if used without powder. Id recommend it to anyone with fairly blemish free skin that just needs to even out skin tone, or someone who like a lighter foundation thats heavier than a tinted moisturiser.

24 hours of wear time is kinda ridiculous but it does last for a very long amount of time. This foundation has a really good shade range and has an SPF 25 so you need to be careful about flashbacks in photos (white cast). A little advice: as it has SPF 25 coverage that doesn't mean that you don't need to use additional SPF protection because if you wear a light layer of this foundation it won't protect you from UV rays. Therefore if you want better protection either use sunscreen beforehand or apply a thicker layer of foundation. The pump is great, you can easily control how much foundation you need. It gives a matte finish more than a fresh finish, and a medium type of coverage so it is ideal for those who like a more natural look and don't have major skin issues. It has a slight fragrance and is very liquidy, very thin and sheer. Goes onto the skin so easily and it feels as if you are not wearing anything, it doesn't look heavy and doesn't look greasy or dewy. It has a slight pore-minimizing effect, but it won't erase your pores, so you need to apply a good primer and moisturizer beforehand. It doesn't transfer very easily onto your clothes either.Overall, would recommend because the skin looks so natural and fresh, and has a long wear time.

This product is amazing! I had gifted it to my sister to allow her to use on her skin as this complexity is perfect for her skin. Should use that and she was out in the sun for a while and he did protect her from the sun, and she had no idea that it did that first as I did not mention it. The item dost last a long time as my sister was out around five to six hours for the whole day and it did not fade it did not melt it was very firm on her skin. The fact that it's slightly difficult to spread makes my sister kind of thing before she uses it if she has enough time she will definitely use it if she doesn't then she won't as it does take some time to actually spread. Having had this on my sister skin, she realised that it also felt authentic and real and it good on her skin. She did mention that she would definitely recommend it for anyone with this skin complexity as it does protect you from the sun it lasts a very long time although if you have a lot of time she recommends that then you should use it but if you don't then you shouldn't as it does take some time to spread but other than that it's quite good. she had used it as a line for her contouring which it helped with quite a bit. Overall she recommends this product and it's amazing!

I have applied this L'Oreal Paris infallible 24hr Freshwear Liquid foundation on a number of occasions so far. I have tried applying it with and without primer and with a beauty sponge and with a brush to see what difference it makes.Whichever method i try it last well. I generally prefer a foundation that has a satin finish as my skin is normal/dry and more mature (i'm in my 50s) but this is more matt. I haven't yet tried applying it with a drop or two of oil, which might give it more of a glow? I think i prefer the look when applied over primer but it doesn't settle into pores or fine line even when you don't you a primer. Without a primer i feel that it looks very much like you've just applied foundation (which you have)to start with but improves in appearance as the day progresses. With primer it looks more 'settled' straight away. With a brush i feel you get a good full coverage, or thats what i found and with a beauty sponge a slightly more natural finish. So it depends which look you are going for.I'm not sure i got exactly the right shade for me, which is a shame but overall this is a long lasting foundation with good coverage that doesn't sink into lines and pores. Well done L'Oreal.

This is 30 mls of liquid foundation in a clear glass bottle with a black plastic nozzle dispenser and transparent dark red plastic lid. The nozzle dispenser is handy because you can measure out exactly how much you want; it's not too messy but some foundation can get stuck in the corners of the nozzle lips and its hard to clean. The foundation claims to last for 24 hours with no transfer, shine, dryout or mask effect. I used a few drops on top of a basic primer to test it out. It lasted all day and there indeed was no transfer or dryout or anything else. I liked how it felt on my face and this is now my go-to foundation.Copper (340) shade:I've used several foundations from this range before and liked it,I found it to be long lasting, no transfer or dryout etc just as others in the range. This copper shade is very deep and warm and makes your skin look really radiant.Golden beige (140) shadeMiddling shade--I've used others in this range and I like it because it lasts all day and feels fresh and looks natural. At first I used it with a primer, but these can be used with just as nice results on a bare face as they al contain dimethicone anyway. This shade makes you look fresh all day.
