as a fan it works! you plug it into your usb port and away it goes, a little noisy but nothing major, and when your in full flow with your games you hardly notice it, however the problem lies with the damn thing staying put, all it has is one little plug, which goes into your usb port and nothing to hold it in place so it is always slipping ou, and i mean always, wether its stood up or on its side, i have had to affix mine in pplace with a bit of tape,, it really does need some kind of clip or anything, but alas, it doesnt, you would really be better of paying the extra few quid and getting a better one!! trust me

Bought this product at Xmas as i thought my ps3 was overheating and this would help, it didn't. It does'nt even fit the ps3 properly. The tiny hooks at the back of the fan keep jumping out the bit you place it onto the ps3, therefor the USB stops getting power from the ps3 and the fans stop spinning. Unimpressed with this product, but maybe just a one off, hopefully yours works. Dont usually write reviews but was compelled to do so in this case.

This product does have two _tiny_ 1mm "clips" on each side, which fail to do their job. Also the USB connector is not long enough to keep the fan pressed down in the port firmly. Due to these defects this product fails in being usable. I'll have to modify the fan-unit in order to use it.Device tested on: Japanese PS3 60GB.

The other review has hit the nail on the head, as a fan it works but it doesn't stay in place. I'm making a little leg for it to prop it up but annoyed that i have to. Surely these things get tested before being put on general sale???

Noisy and does not slot in usb ports properly. Rubbish design.I was almost deafened by the noise of my PS3 overheating and the fan combined.

Do NOT buy this rubbish. does not fit neatly on the PS3 nor does it blow air onto the PS3`s internal components.Complete waste of money.

This loose fitting piece of junk is a serious waste of plastic. Save your pennies for a PS3 cooling fan which is fit for purpose!

The PS3 dosen't have a problem with overheating!! I therefore do not understand why anyone would buy a product like this????
