I'm really pleased I bought this, firstly it was packed in a sealed plastic sleeve so arrived in perfect condition even though the envelope looked like it had been thrown around a bit in the post. The mat itself is not very thick but when you put it on the board you really can notice the difference. It's especially good if you do the plank exercise which used to make my arms sore on the hard plastic after a while. As it's only thin it doesn't make it any harder to do the balance exercises (yoga etc) either. The straps that hold the mat in place are well attached to the mat itself and also are just the right length to fit round the board but not let it move about once in place. The back of the mat also seems to grip the board well to further stop any movement. It also fits the board really well, just the right size.I was a little worried that the sensitivity of the board might be affected but, as far as I could tell, it made no difference.I'm not sure what the mat is actually made of but it certainly looks like it would handle a wipe with a damp cloth if/when it starts getting a bit grubby. The padding does sink down once you've been on it for a while (still stays comfortable) but springs back up quickly ready for next time. All in all a good additionl to your wii fit board.

This is a brilliant matt which not only protects the top your Wii balance board from any marks/scratches but also is comfortable underfoot. I tried it both ways, one with socks off which made my feet a little sweaty but not uncomfortable. And one with socks on. I can report too you now that it's definitely better wearing socks I also placed an exercise matt underneath the balance board with raiser/stepper extension for the balance board as it's much better and of course increases the height of the board. You don't get any false readings from Wii fit plus if your using that. Also having an exercise matt gives you quite a decent length to work out so you just simply step down from the Wii balanceboard as I did after I finished exercising for the day and you have a nice cushioned area from the exercise matt to step down on. The Wii balance board Matt shown here is made of very good quality materiel which features two elasticated straps underneath one on each side. All you simply have to do is place the matt on top of your Wii balance board (shown above) and remember then to attach the two elastic straps underneath the matt to the underside of your Wii balance board this way the matt will not slip about on top of your balance board as you train/exercise.

Just posted this as an answer in the discussion forms, so thought I might as well add it as a review...Yes I have this and its ok, can't really compare it to a silicone skin as I haven't tried one, but this is quite good. It hooks on to the bottom of your balance board using the two elastic straps underneath and it seems to hold quite well - there are little grooves near the board feet and the elastic fits in there.I haven't really noticed any difference in the boards sensitivity either so that is a bonus. The ends of the mat can curl up a bit and it can feel a bit grippy at first but only while you are getting used to it.Its about 5-8 mm thick I would say and it has a kind of basket weave texture to it.It stays put fairly well but that depends on the exercise you are doing, mine slips around a little bit during step aerobic, but that probably says more about my ability than anything else, and it is nothing that causes any hindrance really. It does keep your board clean and it is worth it just for the fact that the balls of my feet don't ache as much after a workout!

This is such a good idea! The mat is made of a purple waffle-type fabric and lightly cushioned. It fits perfectly on the wii fit board with elastic straps on each corner and I haven't noticed any problems with it slipping. When I first received it I thought it wouldn't be cushioned enough to make any difference, and worse still, once I had been standing on it the mat clearly showed the impression of my feet. However, within seconds of getting off the board the mat was back to normal. The mat makes using the board much more comfortable and the cushioning doesn't effect game play. The only downside is that if my feet are warm they do tend stick to it,but this is easily rectified by wearing a pair of socks - which doesn't make the board slippery or compromise game play. All in all very good value. I wouldn't want to use the board without it now.

This protector is made of the same material as a typical yoga mat. I bought it for 2 reasons: 1- the balance board can feel quite hard on the feet in certain exercises & can be really tough on the arms in others, 2- I wanted to prevent top of my balance board from getting a bit grimy. I find that it suits my needs very well and is easily fitted with little straps that go over the corners of the balance board. The protector feels slightly sticky to the feet and this is just like a yoga mat & helps prevent your feet from slipping. I have not noticed any problems with feet catching the edge on the protector. In summary it does the job I bought it to do.

I decided to go for this cushion mat because I'd heard the silicone ones can get a bit slippy when your feet sweat! I always exercise in bare feet, so that was a concern. However... since buying and fitting this one, I've been exercising in my socks which I actually prefer. This mat has a slight 'tacky' feel to it which although great for non-slip workouts, feels a little too tactile for me. I'm a fussy so-and-so!The cushioning is great, and it doesn't effect the sensitivity at all. I would never go back to a bare board after using this because my feet used to hurt too much. A great product! I'm very pleased with it!

I'd just bought a Wii Fit Board and loved it, but I did find it a bit hard. Thank goodness Logic3 thought of this simple little idea.... that works. It was easy to put on you just slip the elastic of the mat over little legs of the board and you're ready to go. The mat doesn't move and it definately takes the edge off the hardness of the board. I also purchased a silicone skin for the board and it works just as well with the skin as without it. But there's one thing for sure, I would'nt be without that wonderful cushion mat. In fact I would go so far as to say I think I'll purchase another just so I have a spare.

I bought this product because I wanted a little padding on my Wii board for when I'm doing yoga exercises and it does the job perfectly. It is a little sticky when your feet get warm, but that didn't really bother me as the purpose of it is to stop you slipping anyway! I would definitely recommend this over the silicon cover, as the silicon one has these raised bobbles where your feet are which makes it unbelievably uncomfortable to put your hands on!

This mat is a very good one, particularly because of the slight cushioning it has. This helps your feet not to hurt when doing a longer session of Wii Fit, although when barefoot I noticed my feet stick to the mat a little, but maybe that's because it's new. This saves your arms too, especially when you're doing yoga positions or muscle workouts where you rest your forearms on the board, before; yowch! Now; nothing but comfort :)

My husband bought me the Wii Fit Plus and balance board for Christmas and I love using it. However I tend to use it barefoot or wearing tights and after a while the soles of my feet get a bit sore. I bought this mat hoping it would help. I would highly recommend it. It makes no difference to the readings but is just thick enough to cushion my feet. It is one of the best things I have bought for my Wii.

I found the only downside of the wii fit plus experience was how hard the balance board was on the bottom of my feet. I had a look to see what covers were available and came across this. The function of the balance board isn't impaired at all, and I'm able to use it with or without socks. It stays in place well, and is a bright, cheerful colour. I recommend it!

We have, so far, not used this product as we are using the silicone protector - just because we put that one on first. I am sure that this will, however, be used in the future and it looks sturdy and like it will last and be very useful. Don't get time to use Wii Fit enough to make use of it at the moment so cannot comment on its durability.

Like many other wii users I use the board barefoot and this has made such a difference. Although thin it does seem to cushion the feet very nicely. I no longer jump off as soon as I can after use. The elastic round the bottom keeps it in place well so there is no slippage. I would recommend for any wii fit users.

I love this mat for the fit board as it straps on with elastic and does not move around. It makes it softer for exercising and also keeps the fit board clean. I already had this item and was so pleased with it that this one is for my Sister.... Well worth purchasing for lets face it, peanuts....

This mat does provide more comfort than the board alone and improves grip too. A little moveable when doing a full on step workout, but I am going to add extra elastic ties, which I think will do the trick. This is, in part resolveable by picking my feet up properly!
