Leifheit Pegasus v over bath dryer.................This is an over bath clothes Airer designed to maximise space within the home.Design..........This can be used in three main ways;In a V shape over the bath.Leaning against the wall whilst resting on the side of the bath.Lay flat over the top of the bath. This design means that the Airer can accommodate all styles of clothes. The extra room created when the error is leaning against the side of the wall creates a large gap underneath it, suitable to hang longer items such as jeans and trousers.Laid flat across the bath it is ideal for delicate items which need to be dried flat, such as woollen jumpers.Use.........The airer is constructed in such a way that the weight of the clothes works to help stabilise it when it’s in use.It is large enough to hold two average washer loads or one large load, making it ideal for single people, couples and small families.Build quality......This is light but surprisingly strong, using a well thought out design and good quality materials it is an excellent way to dry clothes during the colder wetter months of the year.Being an over bath Airer not only allowed wet clothes to drip onto a surface more than able to cope with the moisture but also frees up space in smaller properties.Should you have any problems it comes with a three year manufacturers guarantee.

Actually much more impressed by this than I expected to be. I have a Leifheit upright airer that I use at my place but my partner saw this one and wanted it for using at his. This is no cheap plastic coated wire affair that slips and slides and collapses into the bath if you breathe near it!It slides open widthways to double the storage width and you can lock it into position at any width between the two extremes that you choose.Once opened outwards you can also lock into position at either end to keep it from collapsing in on itself. Then, position over your bath and the back feet just abut the edge of the bath and wall, whilst the front feet are perfectly shaped to fit against the front edge of the bath.I was genuinely surprised at how stable it was.My other half’s only gripe was that he thought it fiddly and awkward to utilise the hanging space at the back- the rungs facing the wall, compared to the front half. There’s no getting around that with this type of airer, but my way of hanging the laundry is to fill the back first, with smaller things like underwear, and then hang the larger items at the front.Kinda wishing I’d kept it to use at mine, rather than letting him have it at his!

Brilliant Bath Dryer - would say that it is more expensive than I think it should be as the quality is ok. When I first took it out of it's packaging when I received it a couple of months ago, my first thought was "it's flimsier than I expected for the price." I say this, but it does actually take a lot more weight than I expected it to, so I would strongly recommend it, and I would buy another one too as it is fantastic for making use of the space, especially if there is not much available indoors.I perch dryer against the wall now although I had intended it for the bath as it folds out and can be used as an even surface (can be unfolded by 180 degrees if desired). It does serve well as an over bath dryer too.I have used it a lot in the time that I have owned mine and as I own a lot of pairs of jeans have hung a full load on there at one time, and it doesn't and hasn't buckled - I thought this worth a mention as denim when holding water, tends to be a heavier material than others.

This dryer is an excellent product, well made and easy to use, with no metal parts to rust. It holds a lot of laundry and the fact that each item of laundry hangs down separately means that everything dries evenly. I use it expanded most of the time, as it fits perfectly over the bath and allows me to dry a full load of laundry at once. It's tall enough to hang long items, including sheets. You can also hang shirts and tops on a hanger in the centre, which means you don't get the creases you would get by hanging them over the bars. The only minor negative I've found is that when you set it up, you do need to open it about an inch wider than you really need, so that when you lock it in place,it moves inwards slightly to the exact position you need. It folds flat for storage which is great.Definitely worth the extra cost.

This is such a well designed clothes dryer. It is versatile as it can be used over the bath, or an upright section or horizontally along the bath top. It takes a good sized wash and I find it particularly useful for those delicate hand wash items that can be pulled out of shape by hanging up. Because of the design all the clothes dry evenly. It can also be extended and folds away very neatly when not in useIt is a really useful aid, dispensing with wet clothes hanging on radiators which frequently have to be turned because only one part has dried.I am not sure how the price compares to other bathroom dryers, but this looks to be quite an expensive item, however due to the excellent construction and materials it should last many years

This is the second dryer I’ve had from this company so I knew it would be good quality as my full size dryer is fab. I got this because I’m hoping to get the washing tucked out of the way and thought over the bath might be a solution. It’s easy to use and extends the full length of the bath. It doesn’t fit my bath perfectly so not perfectly stable but 90 percent. It’s great for smaller loads although bit hard to fill it as tricky to get to the back rungs. Need to be careful with long trousers and make sure you have a nice clean dry bath. I’m glad to have this as an extra option when I need to dry stuff out of the way, though it’s a bit more fiddly. Very sturdy and easy to handle.

Great backup for drying clothes on wet or moist, windless winter days. I am not convinced that the locking clips have any function other than decoration but the dryer is well enough made for them not be important. It extends nicely to fit the bath solidly and we have also used it freestanding in front of an open fire so that could become its prime use, safety issues notwithstanding. Happily, it is also easy stored in this size out of the way next to a washing machine. Our other bigger dryer has to go in the garage because of its size. In summary, we are well pleased that it is a useful addition to our drying options.

The fact this dryer hangs over the bath is why I bought it. I have a house with 3 children and so there is always washing & drying on the go. The freestanding airer we have is great but it obviously takes up floor space.I initially set this up as the image suggests on the Amazon site however I have changed that now so that one side of the dryer now rests on the outer side of the bath and the other side up higher on the wall. I have set the angle to about 135 degrees I guess and this means I can hang longer items from it too.The quality feels pretty sturdy even when fully loaded. Great product.

We needed a new airer (with 2 young children in the house and no sunshine outside we need space for a LOT of laundry!)This takes up very little room when folded. Once opened, you set it up over the bath, pull it out if you want it longer, then lock the apex into position. It seems pretty sturdy (I had two heavy bath sheets on it), and is handy for when we need extra drying space. I wouldnt use it as my only airer as it's a nuisance to move when someone wants a bath! It's not cheap however and so I have not given it the full five stars.

This is just great. It’s so sturdy, you can tell it’s a quality item from the minute you unpack it. It’s designed to stand over a bath, giving you more room to dry longer items that would otherwise dangle on the floor. It holds a surprisingly high amount of items, and can happily take heavier items, not just your ‘smalls’. This has also been set up in our house against a radiator, which is great for us, as our bathroom never seems to get very warm! All in all, a great household helper, that folds away flat for super storage.

Bought this to replace one that kept collapsing. Thank God this one stays up and is reasonably strong. Easy to adjust the length across the top, and also to adjust the width to the width of bath. Best way to do this is to let the feet of the airer overhang the bath before putting the three knobs down and then once it is "locked" the feet can then sit on the bath. First of all I was locking it with the feet on the side of the bath and then the feet move inwards couple of inches making it too narrow to fit over bath.

I place these over my bath to dry normal washing and in the garden or over the bath to first hose/shower jet and then leave to drip waterproofs after a day in the mud outside (they don't like being washed and spun). The quick-release style clips make this quite a capable affair and help with moving it when somebody wants to shower and there is still washing in place, but the shape means that when set up it stays in place regardless. the extendable nature gives a great deal of drying space and a compact storage.

On first opening - and having used/worn out many airers (with a little help from my two boys), I was concerned that the plastic structure would not hold the weight of clothes. However, it fits easily over the bath and the weight of the clothes secure the structure from moving/slipping off! The fact you can slide it to double up the space is genius. Once clothes are hung and you need to move it - it is tricky to move when full length - but it is possible. Freeing up valuable space in my cottage!

In the last couple of years we have got into open water swimming and now soggy wetsuits and swimwear are a common feature of our bathroom. This over-bath dryer was the perfect solution to drying our wetsuits without making a mess of the bathroom. The dryer would be excellent for any sort of clothes drying, particularly drip-drying. It is robust and well made, there is no sagging even with heavy wetsuits on it.I would recommend this dryer without hesitation.

Not the most sturdy airer and the wires are so close together, drying clothes is very difficult. However I have used it to dry baby clothes easily as they are small and delicate. I have also used it to take the dampness off hand towels or towels the kids have used once to save washing towels that just don't need washed. If your bath is not against a wall you will struggle to get this to balance properly.
