Lots of space, the outside lines are wide enough for a single bed sheet or single duvet cover, that was my main buying point, but you need to fold those large items over the line. Smaller heavy items like hoodie tops or jeans that as slow to dry are better pegged to the line rather than folded over the line for better drying speed. The dryer is well made and is sturdy, the legs are a tripod style, so more balanced than a traditional clothes horse that will blow over in the wind, as this rotates the wind just spins the dryer (assuming a decent breeze not a gale). Its great indoors if you have the room and outdoors and its easily moved while folded up. It folds easily with built in clips that hold the legs and arms in place. The loss of one star on the Easy to fold is, don’t turn this dryer upside down when folding up the arms, it tangles the washing lines making it difficult to open again, not impossible but its time consuming and fiddly to work out what line crosses another. I learned that the hard way.All in all this is a great buy, it holds more washing than an old style clothes horse and the items dry faster as the clothes are not hanging on top of each other, with the outside items blocking air flow to the inner items. It is less prone to blowing over outside (it hasn’t yet after a few uses outside) unlike my old clothes horse. The only caveat is you need space for it, especially if you want it to rotate freely.

- Just a quick note out there to anyone who could not find the ground pegs.... I couldn't and was throwing away the box when my hubby (thankfully) did a last check and they was in there - even though I was sure I'd checked several times. So literally pull that box apart - they're probably hiding in there somewhere. As for the airer... it's fine. Just tall enough to hang on easily - would be perfect for a caravan etc but mine is actually used for my main washing at home on the odd few nice weather days we get and it is perfect. I didn't want a washing line in my new house and I use one of those heated airers most of the time, so between the two, it is perfect for my needs. Has it fallen over?Yes... I'm afraid it has (twice) so the pegs if on grass, place where it won't get a full wind blast or secure the feet - but the pegs are fine... just check them once in a while to ensure they're not coming up. For the price this is definitely a 5-star item. I love the fact that come the end of summer I can fold it away in the garage til next year.

I already have a freestanding airer that I purchased from a specialist company, which was quite expensive. My husband got rid of my fixed rotary airer as he wanted to reclaim his lawn, which has meant that I have used the tumble dryer as a means of drying (costly electric bills). The freestanding airer I had previously purchased did not hold all of my washing so I decided to buy a second airer to place on my patio. After a lot of research I purchased the Minky airer. This arrived very quickly. It was easy to erect and it was soon placed on my patio. The top half actually rotates - which is fantastic for a freestanding airer.I have weighted it down with a large stone at the base to stop it toppling over - although it should be OK if the washing is evenly distributed on the lines. It does have pegs to place on the garden or the lawn or the base could be placed in a weighted patio parasol base. The price is good and at the moment - fingers crossed - I am really pleased with my purchase.

Perfect for the caravan. We bought this to use on holiday to tuck discreetly behind the caravan to dry our damp towels on rather than draping them all over the chairs. We are really pleased with it. It's small but not too small. A couple of things to mention that are on the box but I didn't see in the product description. It says that it has 49 feet / 15 metres of drying spaceHolds the quantity of 1 average wash loadIt was a Practical Caravan Product Test winnerIt's maximum width when up is 60 inches / 152cmIt's height when up is also 60 inches / 152cmIt comes with three pegs to stop it moving on a windy day and appears quite light, although I cannot find a weight mentioned on the box.All in all I am really pleased with it. Being the cheapest available I did wonder if it would be flimsy but it certain does not appear to be.

I’m really impressed with this for the money I paid. I didn’t want a permanent one in the garden and this is a great alternative. One of the legs was slightly dented, but this could have happened during delivery or even at my house before I opened it and wasn’t a problem. It was packaged pretty well though.I saw a lot of reviews saying there were no pegs with it. I thought that too and even went out to the dustbin to double check the packaging after I’d thrown it all away. And they were in one of the plastic sleeves. I’d completely missed them. You get three or four.It goes together easily and anyone could do it. I left it outside all night on the patio and it’s still standing today. Not sure about windy weather though.Folds down small. Easy to store. Perfect for what I need.Highly recommend.

Very easy to open and close and takes no space to store. The original line wiring lost 2 drying rows, but there was plenty of line to accommodate the correct setup, which took me about a half hour to sort out. Apart from this minor inconvenience, am truly delighted with it. It has blown over once, but the winds around here are very strong and it took no effort to pick it back up and 'anchor' it. It was also relatively easy to bring into the house still laden when the rain started, too. Holds a good volume of washing (haven't tried it with any bed-clothes, yet, but think it should live up to that task) and although there isn't the same space/room to dry as on the 'adult' version, all still dried more quickly than when using the old continental airer it replaced. Would definitely recommend it

I don't have a tumble dryer and as I'm usually away for the most of the summer months and possible good weather, most of my clothes drying is done indoors unfortunately. But during lockdown and the beautiful weather we've had, this has proved extremely useful. I didn't want a full rotary outdoor dryer, involving holes in the lawn etc, and although this is obviously a lot smaller it holds as much as I need and is easy to move around for the best position. So far there have been no mishaps with toppling over. Assembling and removal proves quite difficult however. The bits you have to squeeze are quite strong and need two hands and prove impossible for my husband with arthritic hands. It really needs two people. It will possibly get easier in time.

I bought this as a temporary washing line as I was having some renovations done and was without a fixed washing line. This was amazing. Just like a regular rotary line and it took a substantial weight. I never had a problem with it blowing over but could imagine it may do so on a very windy day. I just put some bricks around the base to stabilise it although it does come with some camping type metal pins to hold it in soft ground. Even now I have a regular washing line back, I am still using this one on occasions as an additional one if I am doing a huge amount of washing on a sunny day. Item comes ready assembled as in the washing line is already strung.Just a tiny bit of assembly putting in small metal bars and attaching a washer style nuts.

I've only given this 4 stars for sturdiness as, without the pegs in the ground or securing it to something solid, it does blow over if it's windy, and that doesn't mean a tempest, even a light gusty wind can topple it. If you can read the wind and position it accordingly it seems to be ok! Also, an important point for those like me who are older and have mobility problems with their hands, do be VERY careful when shutting this airer. Once you've removed the peg and started to 'collapse' the airer, it shuts very quickly on its own and you must get your fingers out of the way sharpish. Once or twice it's caught one of my fingers and it can give you a painful nip.Otherwise it's pretty good and well made and I'm pleased I bought it.

I have had this rotary dryer for at least 10years+ first in a holiday caravan then in my garden, the leg has now broken so replacing it with another. I leave it up and out all the time. It’s sturdy enough and big enough for a king size quit and bedding. It’s big enough for a whole machine was of every day wash, just have to plan what to put where in the line, but not a problem as I sort the washing out as I take it out the machine. It does blow over occasionally but has to be fairly windy. Love that it has umbrella type locking system and not plastic strew to keep the arms up. Also came with 3 hooks to hammer legs down. Well made, strong does the job highly recommend for either singles or couples ideal for small gardens.

I have found this a real boon, especially on showery days! I have set it up in the conservatory, (with all the windows open to create a breeze) and watched my washing dry whilst it was pouring with rain outside! It would work just as well in a garage or out building. Of course it is not as sturdily built as the large 4 arm monster I have outside but then its not flimsy either, I find that outside it copes with a hefty breeze and has not shown any sign of blowing over - if in doubt use the ground pegs provided with it. Overall, I am delighted with mine, its also a boon if you have just a few items of lingerie etc and can't be bothered to put the bigger airer up.I have found it good value for money

This stand alone rotary drier has been a perfect solution. Unable to fit a traditional rotary in the ground, I opted to try this and I am delighted. Previously I had been using a general clothes airer which was useless - clothes only drying on the outside edges, smelling damp etc, euch...I love this dryer because if it starts to rain I can whip it (full of clothes) under the covered area of the garden, no problem. I assembled it on my own within minutes. Mine came with 4 tent-peg things to secure it to the ground. I don't use them each time but they are useful to have. More than a full load of washing fits on the dryer and the clothes are dried quickly and evenly in the fresh air. Lovely.

I am amazed with this product. It was much better than expected! I was not aware it actually rotated and was so easy to set up and dismantle for storage! I will be passing the word to my friends and family. I got rid of my whirlie which was taking up space in my small garden and replaced it with a wall mounted one which I love. But! It gets the sun in the morning and by the afternoon it is in the shade? In winter months I had to use the dreaded tumble drier and was looking at something which could be placed in the winter sun and folded away when not in use? This drier is bliss and much bigger and sturdier than expected good bye tumble drier!!!!! And by the way it arrived within 2 days!!

This is even better than I expected. After reading the reviews, I thought I would have to get a jubilee clip to make it rotate but, it seems that the company has read the reviews, taken note and, when mine arrived I was very pleased to discover that it rotates! It holds a full wash load. When the breeze was strong yesterday I had to peg it down with the pegs provided but they did the job and it withstood the wind. It really is light and folds as easily as an umbrella, storing away in my under-stair cupboard without having to take the whole thing apart. I can really recommend this. It saves having a washing line permanently in the garden and can be used indoors if you have room.

20.11.2019

This was smaller than I'd imagined but having used it a few times now I'm quite pleased with my purchase. Obviously doesn't hold as much as my larger brabrantia rotary line but this is mainly for use on the patio during autumn and winter months as there is a bit more breeze and sometimes a bit of sun as patio is higher up. Brabrantia line is mostly shaded by neighbouring trees when the sun is lower. Not suitable for sheets or big bath sheets but holds a small machine wash load. Happily spinning around in the breeze on the patio and will finish off drying inside if it needs it. Easily folded and moved from garden to bedroom or any other position.
