I don’t know quite what I was expecting from this set, but it certainly wasn’t a proper, traditional frame bag (even one made in wood and fabric, rather than metal and leather), with a magnetic closure at the top. The bag is a nice and unusual design, unlike anything I’ve seen in a toy doctor’s set before.The set is good looking, with nicely painted wooden pieces in retro colours and designs. Although predominantly wooden, the set includes a number of fabric elements, and some small metal components. A very small number of wooden pieces have been left with a natural finish. I love all wooden toys and this did not disappoint. It’s totally gorgeous and my toddler loves it. This doctor set is really retro. The bag is brilliant. It’s just like an old fashioned doctors case. Stays open and has a flat base plus it fits all the accessories for safe keeping. The attention to detail is amazing. The little wooden pots make a satisfying clicking noise when you twist the lids (do not open), the scissors open and close, the blood pressure monitor has a little arrow that spins and the stethoscope uses elastic to hold it in your ears. NO BATTERIES needed. This is good old fashioned pretend play. The only flaw is that the arm strap for the blood pressure monitor is tiny and doesn’t even fit around my daughters arm (Velcro fastening)

I have seen quite a few doctor's sets over the years, but never a better one than this. Everything about it spells quality. First, it has a soft padded fabric bag with wooden edges and a magnetic closure which will stop anything from getting lost. I detest those nasty plastic cases that break in minutes. Second, the number of accessories inside is perfect, not too many, not too few. Third, there are no tiny batteries that need replacing and kids are encouraged to use their imaginations. I think this is important, I'm fed up of toys that do everything and take away the need to pretend. Forthly, if that's a word, I love the fact that there are medicine bottles in this set, it gives a lovely addition to play value.

Very nice quality bag and wooden accessories. The soft roomy bag has wooden handles which hold together lightly with a magnetic catch but are easy for a young child to open. There are plenty of toys inside to play doctor with . I especially love the two little wooden bottles. One is honey syrup, the other is calamine lotion. The lids of course do not come off, but they turn round and round and make a satisfying click click noise. There is a stethoscope and syringe and other bits and bobs. The only one tiny thing I found frustrating was the syringe operation, there is no way to operate it one handed, but I am sure this won't really bother any young wannabe doctors and nurses. The implements are so cute.

My niece was very excited when she saw this doctor’s set, it’s a really adorable toy!Thumbs up in general on the packaging, most of the items were wrapped in paper (and she carefully opened each one patiently)! Only the blood pressure gauge was in plastic, which is a shame.The bag looks like a mini handbag and my niece loves walking around with it asking if anyone is feeling ill and if they need to be checked. She then pulls out an instrument to check. She even put some of the ‘cream’ on Daddy after taking his blood pressure! It seems well made, so far, no issues with fading or chips. I love that fact that it’s a wooden toy set, makes it feel realistic and a nice quality. She did ask where the plasters were,

This is absolutely charming doctors play set made almost entirely out of wood. The stethoscope has a small amount of plastic on it.Most of the items are interactive - for example the wooden thermometer has a red marker that you can move up and down depending on how hot your patient is. The wooden medicine bottles have lids that click (but don't come off, just like the real thing, right?). The scissors open and close with a satisfying action without being dangerous.The bag has a wonderfully magnetic clasp that makes a fab clunking sound when the bag is snapped shut.The only slight concern we have is that the blood pressure measurer has a cord that is long enough to get wrapped around a small

Le Toy are on their way to becoming one of my favourite brand of toys. Other items I have had by them have scored highly with their manufacturing qualities, sustainability (they don't use plastic), and the durability of the toys. This Doctor's bag is another winner, whereby a child can really role-play wholeheartedly with the items (including scissors (blunt, of course!), a blood pressure monitor, stethoscope, a syringe, plus bottles of syrup / calamine lotion. It's a deilghtful set, in a nice bright red cotton doctor's bag. It will result in many hours of role-olay fun for the little ones. Excellent quality, docked a star for its high price,

Our initial reaction was the price - RRP of £40 seems really high. However, it is a Ley Toy Van set and lovingly made. It has a very classy, traditional feel to it. We also appreciated the gender neutral packaging that it came in and was promoting it to be used with both girls and boys. The star of the set is probably the old school styled doctors bag made out of red and checked fabric rather than old leather. There are enough instruments inside to keep your budding doctor busy. A few did bring a smile to our faces such as the blood pressure armband (no chance of it fitting across my arm!) and I don’t think grannies knees will fully recover after being tested with the mini hammer!

This doctors set is very good quality - my daughter particularly loves the 'mary poppins' type bag that all the bits go into. The wooden instruments are all really good quality, well painted and nice and solid. They have taken quite a lot of dropping and bashing/scraping and have so far survived the 2 weeks since christmas.I love the attention to detail - even the bottles have a safety type lid that clicks when you twist it - and of course the lid doesn't come off which is great. It is pricey but in my opinion it is worth it - far better than plastic ones. Not only that, but my daughter looks after it and makes sure that all the bits go back in the bag,

The Doctors set at home gets well used by children visiting and general play. This set is very nice and I like the overall quality of the set and the doctor's bag this comes with. We gave the set our 4 year old-grand-daughter who had great fun with this. Our 2 year-old grand-daughter became involved as well and they tested the dog and the dolls to see that they were OK. Unfortunately one of the dolls was unwell and was told she would have to go to hospital for 3 years until better. That is play and this is a very engaging and imaginative set that will get much usage. I do hope that 'Granny' is well when she pops around for her medical examination. Great fun and laughs.

Now this is proper childrens toys - a very well made doctors set that oozes quality and absolutely destroys a rival doctors kit that you can buy in the supermarket. A classy bag rather than a plastic case - instruments made out of wood rather than plastic. Very well designed which means you don't have to guess what the doctors instrument is - accept that however that your child will examine everyone of their toys until deciding that your visitors or you are better real life patients. This is an excellent set and may reduce the fear of your child going to the doctor as it will hopefully make them understand that doctors are humans too. Overall - close to faultless...

Le toy van is always one of the go tos for when we are virtue signalling, um I mean saving the world by using wood rather than plastic tat that all kids toys seem to be Made of these days. Jokes aside this is a really lovely set, well thought out and robust for those little hands to have hours of fun. Someone can imitate another family member who is a doctor and feel very important with their little bag which is of course a godsend for keeping bits tidy and together. So far they seem to have lasted well with minimal damage after playing with kids aged 2-6 so a winner here. Only drawback is the price but this will certainly last and can be handed down.

Le Toy Van roleplay toys are great and this kit is no exception. Lovely pieces to inspire playing doctors, with pretty much everything you need. The toys aren't plastic, which is great but this can make them less durable than their plastic competitors. (We have broken a few Le Toy Van toys over the years because they're wood rather than plastic.).I love the cloth bag that the stuff comes in and so do my kids. It makes it much more tactile and interesting to play with. Le Toy Van toys always cost a little more, but I find generally it's worth. You just have to bear in mind they can't always take the beating solid moulded plastic can.

I really love this doctors set. It is far better quality than the cheap plastic sets you can find, in fairness though, I think my son would have as much fun with those as he does with this.Whilst I love it and it is very well made, it is a little expensive around the £30 mark. At present, all pieces are carefully storedTogether in the case, however, as is natural with toys like this, it will be strewn across various toy boxes in time and bits lost as such, i’d be upset at having spent all that money hence lower marking for value for money.Would definitely recommend as a gift but would not have spent this much myself.

Most doctor/nurse role play sets are plastic boxes stuffed with plastic toys. This set is different. It features lively wooden toys and a super-cute fabric bag with wooden handles. It is a delightful set that is sure to entertain and support the learning of young children aged 3 upwards towards 10. My 5 and 8 year old children have had so much fun with this, treating each other and their toys. The toys are well made and have a quality feel, superior to the plastic sets. Definitely the best set of this type I have seen. It does have a higher price tag than others but from experience this is will get enough use to merit it.
