I didn't think it was possible to get an Espresso taste from a cafetiere - but I was wrong. I'm not sure how they did it as Espresso is a "method" not a type of coffee bean. This is my current favourite coffee, just ahead of Asda's own Italian Roast and Ground coffee which is surprisingly good for a cheapy. LavAzza vacuum-packed coffee is best decanted into an airtight container and stored in the freezer.

The best way I know to buy bulk expresso coffee - Lavazza is about my favourite aside from the Portuguese brand Sical and I haven't found many supermarkets that can routinely match this price for a equivalent single unit price (this is a six-pack). About £3 a pop is pretty good going....

I make this in a filter or in a moka pot. Either way it is great, without being bitter or acidic. I have bought more.UPDATEI won't be buying this again now the price (and the extortionate shipping charge) has gone up. A pity.
