If youre a collector or just someone who enjoys a nice dram, this is for you.I felt bad opening this and throwing the packaging out because it was so cool - definitely something I would consider collecting if it didnt taste so good...This is an islay whisky, and comes with that characteristic peat smoke. It's delicious, and smooth and well rounded for a 9yr old whisky.Perfect for the winter nights infront of the fire. It doesnt hold a thing to the 16 in my eyes, but it's a different sort of good.

This 9 year old expression has all the characteristics you'd expect from an Islay single malt, deep, peaty smoke, bold flavours and an underlying salinity. Bought as a very good deal for almost half the marked price and worth every penny.

Other half is a GoT fan, and a whisky fan, so what better gift to get than this?Tastes great neat, over ice, and with the odd mixer. (we tried raspberry Pepsi over the Christmas period. Winner)

I can't comment on flavour, as we are yet to open any of the ones we have bought, but we are slowly buying this collection. They are stunning and make perfect presents for my husband!

Good but it’s for a present and there was a massive sticker on top of the delivery box saying what it was and my dad seen it so now he knows what he is getting

I was wary about the gimmicky nature of these releases, but the Laga is great. As yay as the feis or distillery only bottles which are double the price.

Did not buy from Amazon, but this Lagavulin is as good as the 16 yo. Although, it has a better labeling. Probably tells everything you need to know.

As good as the 16 year old in my opinion, however at time of review the 16 is cheaper on amazon. But a nice addition to my GoT collection.

Well packaged but i found it cheaper at the airport.. so I was a bit disappointed that i didnt find a competitive price here

Better than the 16 year old. Absolute treat of a whisky only issue is whether to drink or keep.

On offer for the mid £30 it is well worth it. A cut above the normal supermarket single malts.
