Particularly good running shoes. Especially easy to put on without having to fasten is very nice if you want to take them for a walk or something. They have good grip in mud. In terms of dimensions, I normally have a size 44 from Asics. Since I have a broad forefoot I have always been with Ascis until now. I often found other brands too narrow at the front. This Lasportive ehb I bought a size 44 without fitting. it is slightly narrower, but still spacious enough. I think the quick-lace system is just a marketing name. With Salomon this means that you do not have to tie your laces anymore. With this welding port you just have to tie your laces.

Perfect fit. I am size 41.5 , I ordered size 42. Very good build quality as expected from La Sportiva. The shoes are taller than the normal on the ankle, so they feel really snug. In other words, you can't loose them in muck :)). Also I have ordered a pair of Salomon Speedcross 4 goretex which I have owned previously. The build quality of La Sportiva is much better. It is like the difference between Ford Focus and Mercedes Benz.

After 2 worn mutants, and looking for a Goretex sneaker, I ended up buying these Tempesta. A super stable, resistant shoe, very comfortable although the lacing is a bit strange. I haven't tested them much but being based on the Mutant, I don't think there is much difference.
