I adore this umbrella. It has a sleek zippered carrying case for it, which discreetly holds the umbrella until you need it. When you DO require it, you don't have to wrestle it out of the sleeve. Instead, you can unzipper the sleeve and calmly remove the umbrella. And--presto! You hold the umbrella over your head and press the button on the handle. As quick as a flash, the umbrella flies open dramatically and covers you. It's wonderful! I love the way I don't have to struggle with any long umbrella sleeve, and it's so easy and smooth to pop the thing over my head. Sometimes, it's worth looking effortless and calm.This umbrella makes the mess of rain and storms at least a tiny bit less chaotic.

The Knirps TS200 umbrella is a rather fascinating product. Very lightweight and unreal that it collapses into such a small size. It pops open rather quickly so care must be taken not to hit anything or anyone, so that neither the umbrella or anything gets damaged. It was very easy to collapse and wrap back up with a velcro flap/tab and slide back into the zipper case.I like the fact that it doesn't have a metal spike tip. Don't like that in lightning territory.I suppose the materials are better made than they look, I hope this umbrella lasts for a few years and at least a few dozen uses before anything breaks. The fabric does look like rip-proof, strong material. It's very light weight and fits into a laptop case,

This compact umbrella is great for one person. it comes with a case hat zips. Pressing a button opens it but I had to manually close it and push it shut. so it is semi-automatic at best. that being said it is sturdy. We did get some heavy rain and strong winds and this umbrella held its own. It didn't falter, turn inside out or break. The hexagonal shape is cool and the spines are sturdy. It is small enough to stow in a desk drawer or tuck in a bag or briefcase or car. I used to go to the Dollar Store and buy twelve cheap umbrellas at a time. If they lasted a single outing I considered myself lucky. If I ost them I didn't shed a tear. this one makes a world of difference.it is sturdy and durable.

I ordered this Knirps TS200 Duomatic Umbrella for my wife to use in school as she is attending college in one of the “rainy” cities in the Pacific Northwest. She likes the color and design of the ribs of the umbrella, and she says it has been pretty helpful in providing cover from the rain.She likes that it is lightweight, sturdy, portable, durable and easy to use. She says she likes the auto open/ close feature, also folds flat easily. She likes the size of the umbrella as it is not big or small, just the right size she wanted to keep in her car and she can easily place it in her handbag as well and use quickly as needed. So far, so good, and this umbrella has been performing as expected.

Knirps has another umbrella that folds down ALMOST as small and is ALMOST as light, but provides significantly better coverage when open and even has a venting system to guard against wind gusts, so personally, I like that one better, but if size (when folded down) and weight are of upmost importance to you, perhaps this is a better choice. It feels sturdy enough--we'll just have to wait and see how long it takes for my kids to break it (because they inevitably break every umbrella I give them sooner or later). My only problem with it is the cost--at nearly $50 (at the time of the review), this little guy feels a bit out of its price range. If it doesn't last a good, long time,

Testing this as part of the Amazon Vine programMade in Germany, this auto up umbrella is small and compact and very lightweight.Reinforced to stand up to wind, it looks very substantially made, with strong frame and springs to support.The outer carrying case is zipped so easy to get on and off, and the automatic open action is quick and smooth.It seems quite small in size when opened, and I felt like the handle could have been a few inches longer, but otherwise it works as expected. Quite expensive for a compact umbrella, but certainly appears very well constructed.I haven't been out yet in stronger winds, but it looks like it would stand up in a downpour. 4 stars

I purchased a full feature compact umbrella a few months ago from Amazon. It cost less than half of this one. The cheaper one is six inches wider, they both have auto open and close, the handles are the same length, they weigh about the same, they collapse to the same size, both made in China, the cheaper one looks more expensive and easier to hold. The spoke engineering looks more complicated on the expensive one and the expensive one had a zipper on the slip cover. Is that worth paying more than double? No, no, no. Buy three of the cheaper ones so you'll have one for home, office and car.

I was really impressed with this umbrella it is great to slip it out of its cover and it quickly pops open using one hand.The material is quality which I look for good quality products. So this can make a great gift or get it for yourself.Putting it back together it was pretty easy by just writing it down and not having to push a button and slide it down and it locked right back into place. It was easy to wrap up and then you can put the cover right back over it once it’s dry.You won’t regret this purchase. Great umbrella and worth the price.

This is a great umbrella! I was immediately impressed with the look and feel of quality versus cheaper compact umbrellas I've had in the past that looked and felt cheaper. This one is noticeably more sturdy and no doubt more durable, and collapses to a size small enough to fit into the sling bag I take to work. I wish I would've had this umbrella when I lived in NYC. It would've no doubt been part of my everyday carry.

Nice compact umbrella that will fit in a large pocketbook. Comes in a handy zippered carrier with a strap handle. Very easy to slip out of the carrier bag and undue the Velcro strap and pop open the umbrella. It’s a pretty good size considering how small and compact it is. I haven’t had the opportunity to actually try it in the rain yet but looks like it would hold up well.

Very compact with an unusual oval design. They call it flat, I call it oval. Nice case included. Great for travel.Not very large when open, so sharing is unlikely. Can be a bit difficult to close.Attractive and appears well made.Definitely on the higher end of the price range so use your judgement. Honestly can't say it offers additional value in flat design

This is a nice umbrella. It worked fairly fine. It is small and sleek and easy to carry. It seems well made. But I think it is comparable or better than most of them. It looks good. It is easy to open and close. I love how you can use the button to close it too. It seems really high quality, especially for such a small umbrella. Overall, I would recommend it.

Fantastic umbrella. It's so stylish, compact and neat. It is automatic. You press the button and it instantly opens. Press the button again and it instantly closes. Once closed, you have to push it back into the handle until it clicks - easy. The band wraps easily and all the folds neatly fall into place with out bunching or wrinkling. It's fabulous.

This is a well made, very light weight, umbrella. The materials and construction seem solid and the pushbutton opening feels like it will last. The canopy is a bit small for dealing with truly bad blowing rain but the compact design makes it perfect for travel or carrying in a handbag or briefcase. So, if you need a small umbrella pick this up.

Very nice automatic umbrella. Has a great auto-retract feature as well as a fully automatic deploy feature. It closes into a very compact form that is easy to throw in a bag or backpack.I've received a few umbrellas from the Vine Program, and honestly this one is by far the nicest I have ever used. Highly recommended!
