I liked everything about these small bolt cutters. The price seemed high compared to those I'd owned before, but once I used them I understood why they cost more.I work on aircraft a lot, and have the need to trim and cut a variety of steel bindings, wires and occasionally a rivet stem or shank. This cutter does it all properly first time.Don't buy the cheapies like I did. Invest in Knipex cutters. You won't be sorry.

These are perfect for cutting jobs that you don't want to wear out your side cutters on, but you don't need full sized bolt cutters for. They cutting edges are precise, and keep their edge well. I have cut some 1/4 inch bolts without any problems, although you need two hands, and anything smaller than that is a breeze. I got them on sale for $66 and but even the full $80 would probably still be worth it.

Cuts Fishing hooks very easily, only issue is that it does chip away at the cutting edge once you cut through a few hooks but still functions well. I would expect the steel to be a little firmer on the cutting edge, but still performs well regardless. Price is up there but you get what you pay for.

Some blue tempered springs are too hard. If you were to use them all day long for cutting mattress springs, they wiould dull, but for everything else they are ideal.They cut most wire with ease and are small enough to fit in a pocket. Unless you abuse them, they will last a lifetime.

Brought from spectra connectronics.Seems original. Very beautifully engineered.Very smooth operation. You can feel the difference of german engoneering.cuts 3mm ms mesh effortlessly.Small size makes it easy to carry in tool box.yes the hype is real i guess :)

After hearing from tons of guys..it was finally my turn to pick em up.These 10" knipex are heavy duty and well built from first impressions...I have yet to use them as they came in today. 8/0 hooks beware!!

One of those tools that just feels right in your hand. Solid, well crafted and excellent hi-leverage design that performs as well as cutters that are much larger. Cuts through 16D nails like butter.

used them to cut the support wires on trees and works great. Cut steel nails with ease. they cost a little more but having the best does make a difference. Great quality, fine craftsmanship.

Convenient pocket size and cuts through barbed wire like butter. I would imagine that cutting nails and wire up to 6mm diameter wouldn't be a problem

Bought this for 2 months of Deer and Stock fencing work, worked perfect with no issues, still cuts as good now as it did new.

I needed these cutters to get rid of some barbed wire my neighbors had put on our fence. Worked a treat.
