Theses are excellent crimp pliers for on site installations. Very easy to crimp and find the correct crimp die size. makes a really nice, neat job of the crimp. The larger, ratchet crimp pliers are fine for bench crimping of leads but I find them difficult to wield out on site, above your head and in awkward situations, It's difficult to hold the ferrule then try to crip the lead so these make this a lot easier, hold crimp in pliers, insert lead, crimp, easy. My only suggestion would be to have them in 200 or 225mm lengths to make it easier to crimp the larger ferrules, but apart from that, these are superb. The only addition I'd make is to have some built in cutters and stippers,

Brilliant tool as all Knipex products are. Somewhat specialised as it is only designed for crimping wiring connectors but does what it was designed to do superbly.
