Quality product you can feel it right away, cut thru a .5mm steel cable like it wasnt there and this same cable dented the blade of my old cheap pair of electronic clippers.Like the saying goes "buy cheap buy twice"These particular pair are more your all round home diy / bulders clippers NOT suitable for finer modelling or i suspect electronic work as the ends are rounded off, (for added strength i presume) but 'knipex' make a pair of electronics clippers for around £20 on amazon which i have ordered ,(more suitable for cutting fine shapes or modelling sprues (as i mostly use clippers for as well as scratch building stuff)The quality feel has convinced me knipex are the way to go in future.

Knipex is a well established brand that delivers time and time again. These cutters are no exception and well work paying the extra for, in comparison to cheap generic unbranded Chinese knock offs. Rule of thumb: buy cheap buy twice or more. For reference, I purchased these for £20.49 during February 2020, therefore you can gauge the price when you are reading this.Robust enough to stand up to any job I can throw at them. I am currently using them for arts and crafts cutting and shaping wire (think old style wire coat hangers). Overall a solid set of cutters that should be added to your toolbox.

I made only bad decision I bought too little ones. I should go with 2 cm or more longer version. I was very curious so I tried them immediately cutting iron nails, stainless steel bolts and screws.... I expected some chip on jaws (blades) but nope - still intact, only color changes a little bit on blades. This will certainly last some time. And I have quite good excuse for buying another ones - longer.

Used for about a month now every day in industry . Still razor sharp and when held up to the light in the closed position not a glimmer is let through. Well machined. Used for cutting cable ties, electrical wire and 1 and 1.2mm MIG wire etc. Requires much less effort than a cheapie pair, very useful when you are upside down, backwards, left-handed and in a truck chassis. Great snips, nice and sharp and sleek, only reason for a 4 star is I think the nose of them should be pointed, makes it awkward cutting existing tie wraps off or getting into tight areas to cut. I use these for electrical/security/data installing, can’t go wrong with Knipex

Bought to replace a pair i lost, i had owned for over 20 years and still going strong, very sharp used every day as a former electrician, only used for non live installations high leverage easy to use, had loads over the years these are favorite pair

Had my last pair over 20 years. Just lost them. They were as good on the last day as they were the first. Used every day near enough. Proper tool for proper sparkies. PeopleWho are saying “ bit expensive” £1 per year?? Lol.

I borrowed a pair of these from my neighbour who is a retired BT engineer. I’ve had lots of wire cutters that have ended up not cutting anything, these glide through cables and don’t require any effort what so ever.

The last pair of these I had owned for 15 years and use them everyday at work.The only reason I had to purchase new ones is that I lost my original set.These beat any of snap on or mac alternatives hands down.

I had a pair of these, which I lost, struggled for a few months with various (cheaper) inferior ones, in the end I bought another pair, untill you have used other cutters you dont realise how good these are.

The best side cutters I have ever owned. Good quality construction, cuts great. Good size which reduces the weight of the box I lug around. 8 years of industrial installation electrical contracting.

These are slightly smaller than I would usually use but I am very impressed with the easy grip and sharpness of the cut. Really good product.

Great knipex cutters.Expensive but in ling run way better than cheaper cutters which dont last Mr FatMax...huh..

I’ve had these a little while now and they are fantastic cut through wire and cable ties like they’re butter.
