I already have a couple of these city backpacks and they are so deceiving in terms of how much you can put into these bags. I would say this one even more so as it is bigger than the ones I already have. I have attached photos showing my iPad Air inside the bag both landscape and portrait and as you can see there is still loads of room! This design is a limited edition in collaboration with the Finnish designer Sanna Mander and I think it is just a beautiful pattern. The monkey is just gorgeous too though he is only attached with an easily removeable key fob so I have used a wire to attach him more securely to my bag as I don't want to lose him but nor do I want to remove him.

I love the print. Just the right size for work and I can fit my lunch and other essentials in. I would have preferred a double zip to the main entrance. I would also have preferred that the other compartment on the front had a zip rather than a drawstring toggle fastening. This is for security issues as I use the backpack for work and I often have to stand on busy public transport. I just don't put anything valuable in this compartment as I don't think it is very secure. Fabric is showerproof but as I live in Britain my husband sprayed it with a waterproof solution. This was a good move as first day of use it rained heavily for some time. I am not sure it would have kept the water out had it not been treated.

I’d had this backpack on my wish list for a few months, as I couldn’t decide if it would be suitable. I wanted something for daily use and of a size that I could fit everything in for work. Finally made a purchase and so pleased I did. It’s always difficult to gauge the size of a bag online, even with the help of measurements. If you’re looking for something small, not too big then this is definitely not the bag for you. It’s a cavernous bag with plenty of pockets for all of your bits and bobs. The big selling point for me was the weight, it’s not a heavy bag before you’ve put anything in it. Very comfortable to wear with adjustable, padded, webbing straps. It’s Kipling so you know it’s really well made and will wear well.

Lovely bag, very well made, typical Kipling quality. I think you could fit a macbook air in here (13") but would be difficult to get more school books in and definitely not suitable for folders. I was going to take it as an under aeroplane seat bag, but in the end felt it would not be flexible enough for me to use it in other situations, such as uni or work, when I would need to tote around A4 folders and books, plus laptop. Straps felt soft and comfortable, although they could've done with being padded, especially if you wanted to carry anything remotely heavy. The bag itself felt secure, with a main pocket zip fastening and flap over the top. There is a drawstring closing pouch at the front,

I really like this back pack. Like all Kipling bags it has plenty of pockets and features which make it really useful by extending the storage options. It is just the right size for every day use. I can't see the point of the front pocket with the draw cord which doesn't really "draw" and would distort the bag if it did. I think it would be better to fasten that section another way, perhaps with Velcro. The essential bit for me is the secure zip fastened section which lies against my back when I am wearing the bag. I keep my purse and valuables in there so it means thieves can't sneakily undo the zip to get in. I bought it in grey night colour which will fit in with nearly all colour schemes.

not my first kipling rucksack and probably won't be the last. I bought the first to use as cabin luggage when travelling and that is still something I use. This was an attempt at buying a everyday bag, slightly smaller now my kids are older and a softer more subtle colour choice, I still wanted the kipling features that I was used to strong zips, washable fabric, key clip, internal pockets and lightness and a bright colour interior so I can find things easily and this gives me all that. The colour is more brown than true khaki and the external zips more dark grey than blue. I use it most days and while I will probably change to a more colourful bag in summer for winter and spring it has been

I wanted to take the citypack S but this one was on sale. I was afraid it was too big but it's actually the perfect size, it's not that much bigger than the S version and this model has better straps, I can even put my 11" laptop inside. I love the color (I took the charcoal), I love the pockets and the little monkey keychain is very cute. My previous kipling backpack lasted almost 20 years (I'm not joking, I started using it during the middle school!) so hopefully this one will be as durable as the oldest. Oh and it's even water resistant. I recommend it.

I bought this for my wife as part of her Christmas present. I'd already bought her an Ecco bag earlier. Anyway, she looked at it with a slightly surprised, 'what the hell have you bought this for?' look and I knew I'd made a mistake. It is probably too big for her to use as a day to day handbag. She doesn't like it. Yet another Christmas present failutre.But what the hell. I like it. I will use it. For the money (bought on a lightning deal) it is great value and a damn useful bag, and I will use it for work.And I like the chimp. It makes me happy.

Very nice large enough backpack thats unisex to be honest . It has a handy keyfob inside and multi drop pockets . Most of all we think you would appreciate the slip pocket in the back that zips - the idea is that you can be assured that your purse or phone will be more secure there than anywhere .Kipling have the best product's for men or women or children . Its one of Europe’s best brands ( from Belgium ) we have many of their products and cannot fault any of them .

Just got it delivered today, it’s great all that I expected , right size, not overly big enough room for day to day, though it isn’t handbag size kind of backpack , there is a size smaller in this style if better for you? But this isn’t enormous, enough for let’s say a jumper, lunch box ? But it’s has room for a little shopping if you pop in shop on way home.that’s why I choose this size for them reason..also it’s a quality bag, I’m happy good price

Trial run at weekend as overnight bag prior to long haul flight which was purpose of purchase. Brilliant bag, lots of pockets and centre cavity big enough to hold jammies, change of top, hoodie, and many other bits and pieces. Not too bulky and still looks like a bag and not a mini suitcase, and still with the expected Kipling quality. I can see this becoming my favourite go to bag for days out, flights, etc. Very pleased with purchase

I knew that Kipling is a well known brand but it is the size of this product that finally sold it for me. I was looking for a pack not as big as school backpacks to carry folders but not too small. This is perfect. It is lightweight but very durable. plenty of pockets for organising if that is your thing. The straps are comfortable. I would highly recommend this and am already planning to purchase further products from Kipling.

I have only been using this bag for a few days but I am very happy with it, suits all my needs and I got it for a super price of £27.68 in the sale compared to the current price of £59.08. My only grip would be I would like to shorten the shoulder straps more but I’m not able to, I have it at the shortest point. Kipling bags are brilliant and this will last me years, probably get fed up it before it wears out!!

Was delivered fast. Great service. I own the art s in this print and wanted something a little more practical whilst out walking the dogs. 3 big dogs and a art s was a bit difficult so I was happy to see a backpack in same print. So I ordered it. Very impressed I can fit the dogs essentials in the side and front pockets and have all the middle section for my items with still loads of room spare.

In love with this backpack. Honestly, I always dreamed about having a Kipling product but did not expect it to be so useful and quality. Definitely recommended. Plus it seems to be quite waterproof, I walked a lot with it on rainy days without an umbrella and my books inside the backpack were safe and sound. Plus the volume is just perfect - not too big, not too small, suitable for 3 days trips.
