Kipling's selling point is that its bags are light. This was the main reason I chose the brand (again) as I'm already carrying around too much weight in books and notepads. As soon as I unpacked it, it was love at first sight. I was a little hesitant about how true-to-life the photo was to the bag's color, but it was correct. It's a well-made and well-designed bag, with just enough room and pockets for most people. There's also attention to safety: a zipper pocket against your back and two fasteners -- magnetic clip and drawstring -- protecting an outer pocket that's perfect for a phone or tablet.

I was looking for a bag that I could use for work. When I was using a handbag, I ended up carrying an additional plastic bag to take my lunch, umbrella, hat, gloves and everything else I couldn't fit in to the handbag. I've got a Kipling cross body bag that I use regularly. I knew the make was good quality, showerproof, light to carry and easy to clean. There was a large choice of styles on Amazon, but I opted for this one. It's much smarter than a rucksack/daysack you'd buy in an outdoor clothing shop and it's just the right size. It's got great organisation, so it's easy to find things in a hurry. I'm definitely a convert to Kipling bags! Very happy with this purchase.

I have a MacBook Air 13in and the backpack is too small for it, but it's fine for an iPad. I like the magnetic closures, and the drawstring front pocket is very handy. It looks great, and is surprisingly roomy - you can fit a lot in there! An umbrella fits well in one of the side pockets, though they are a little too narrow for any of those fat water bottles, but (something like a 500ml Chilly's will fit. I think if you overloaded it, the straps would dig in, as they are canvas and not padded. But for a day out sight-seeing -- say, carrying lunch, a book, pac-a-mac, water, iPad/Kindle, phone, purse and brolly -- it's perfect.

Always like a Kipling bag and this one hasn't let me down.Bought to use as a "small change bag" for day trips as the origional change bag I bought is huge.Lots of pockets and a secure main compartment, inner zipped pocket and zipped pocket on back. Also has a very useful key holder clip in main compartment.Fits everything I need for me and my one year old without being bulky. It's also very light and well made.

This backpack is from Kipling. It has several compartment - 2 side pockets with magnetic stud fastening over, front zipper compartment and then back zipper compartment. Inside the main compartment, there is a Zipped inside pocket, Mobile phone pocket, Pouch pocket for wallet, Pen loop and key fob.I really like this bag for when I am out shopping. It can also fit my Ipad while I am out and about.

As a Kipling fan and owner of two backpacks already, this one has a few advantages over my others. It's bigger than the City backpack and has more sensible shoulder straps. There is a sturdy zip across the top for security. Lots of organization inside and a useful zip pocket which will lie against your back when worn, handy when traveling for securing documents. Still lightweight and tough fabric.

I already have a smaller Kipling backpack but needed something bigger for an upcoming holiday. This fits the bill perfectly and has so much room. I particularly like the bottle holders and the secure pocket at the back. I would have preferred the straps to be the same colour as the bag but that’s only a small niggle.

I have always liked Kipling bags. I have several in different styles and colours.The Citi Pack Bag. Is big enough to take stuff you need for a day out. Purse, phone, wipes, hand gel and snacks.I also like to use it if I go out on my own because I can pop a book or my Kindle in it.

Love this backpack/bag. I use it in place of my handbag which was starting to give me shoulder ache. I can carry all my essentials in the various pockets and have found it to be big enough to carry my A4 sketchbook, lunch sandwiches and a surprising amount of shopping!

In love with this bag, just the right size for everything! All the pockets are in the right place and the right size. I can easily fit a litre water bottle, umbrella, purse and some odd shopping bits in it! I even used it to hike up Snowdon recently.

Love this Kipling backpack just the right size for me . Lots of pockets inside and out and most importantly I love the zip section on the back which isn’t visible on your back when you need to be more security conscious .

I've always been a fan of kipling. Love the shade of red, the monkey, everything about it. It's joyful and adds colour to my look as I'm usually in dark. And you can see care in every little detail.

Bought as a Christmas present for my sister. Upon arrival I looked over the bag to make sure it was as described, was so impressed that I ALMOST kept it for me. Loads of pockets. Lovely colour too.

Absolutely love this bag, I use it every day. Light weight, full of useful compartments, easy to clean, highly, highly recommend! The colour is brilliant as it doesn’t show the dirt.
