I wanted an everyday bag that I could use for work that was small but able to hold all the things I need.When this arrived, it was smaller than I had expected. However, in true Kipling fashion, it's a tardis of a bag.There is a small zipped compartment at the front; ideal for easy access to a tube/rail pass, office pass, etc. The rest of the bag is split into two separate full size individually zipped compartments. The back one can take an iPad mini easily, and also includes an internal zipped pocket and keyring. The front compartment has a phone pouch and pen holder. The rest of it is big enough to hold an umbrella, wallet, small makeup bag and specs. Even with all this in it, the bag doesn't feel full.

I'm not really sure why there are no other reviews for this bag - I can only think it's the price! I'm very much a Kipling fan and own several but, for one reason or another, some have not been ideal and I've sold many of them on........on first sight, this bag is a mix of the Reth & the Gracy (I have owned both) - the Reth is roomy but has SO many sections and pockets that I usually forget what is where and it's annoying when trying to find something in a hurry......the Gracy is a lovely satchel style bag but has the dreaded velcro on the outside flap which I grew to hate! The Yelinda has only 2 roomy sections plus the front zip pocket (ideal for my Oyster) so far less chance of opening the wrong zip and,

I'm very fussy about my bags and I never write reviews but felt that this one needed a good word... This bag is smaller than I expected but it is quite roomy. But try your things in it before dismissing it at first glance. The front zipped pocket has capacity to it so you can fit a fair bit in without compromising the space inside the bag.I've managed to fit in:3 pairs of glassesMobilePurseShopping bag(the foldable ones)KeysKindleAnd I still have space....The iPad Air will just about fit.My only small complaint is that they could have fitted a double ended zip so depending on which side you wear it you can easily access the zip. I find I'm having to take the bag of my shoulder to access the contents.

This Kipling bag is lovely at a lovely lower price too. !!! I love the colour Dazzling Beige, I love the size, bang on the size I was wanting and I love the style of it. !!!!! 3 good size compartments, plenty of space for all your esentual things, even a small fold up umbrella I get in back pocket. A good summer colour , instead of white which I hate. !!! To finish it's got a Cute wee monkey attached to it oh! As I knew from my previous Kipling bags, they are not only good looking & spacey bags, comfortable to use & ware, they are very strong bags and washable too. !!!!!!!!I recommend them to anybody, especially if you like a bag to last & stay looking Good!!!!!!! P's. Kidlington purses are very good too.

This is my first Yelinda bag, I have four Alvar ones. The bag is a nice size, and I like the idea of the grab handle and cross body strap. The only thing I have noticed is the way the lining is stitched can make the zips more difficult to open. The way the zips are sewn on the Alvar makes them very easy to slide open. If it wasn't for this issue I would have given it five stars. It would not put me off buying another of a different colour.A couple of months on and I have bought another Yelinda bag. I have got used to the zips and I am thinking of buying another yelinda. I have found the bag has loads of room when I go to visit the grandchildren, and I manage to fit my kindle,

Great bag with lots of pockets to file all your personal bits away. Great having the top handle which is one of the reasons I bought it. Also if you have a small tablet i.e. Nexus, Kindle etc ... will fit nicely in the bag. Having said all that I sadly had to return the bag as I always wear mine cross body. I suppose its because of the shape of the bag with the grab handle and the fact that I'm short that it didn't feel comfortable. For a lot of women out there this is a great bag and I would highly recommend it. Just wish Kipling would make a bag in the right dimensions with similar pockets and grab handle for me!

I am keeping this bag as it was a cheer me up present and the dazzling yellow is more lime green which I find happy if you see what I mean...However, the quality of the fabric and zip is somehow different to older Kiplings, perhaps a slightly larger weave on the lining, and certainly not the doubled lining between the two main compartments that I would have expected before. I got it at practically half price and really nothing else modern is available at that price on Amazon, but at full price I would have looked for more of an independent maker online for quality, certainly of the lining.

Good size for me as I am only 5ft and I love the colour of dazzling beige, but disappointed with the fact that they haven't lined the front pocket and only a single layer of lining between the front and back . my phone was too big to go in the phone holder too, so did think I would put it in the front pocket, but as that isn't lined it's too vulnerable. Not as good quality as my other kipling bags. Not sure if I would buy this style again, so sad about that as it's the perfect size for me. Love everything else about it though so will keep it. Particularly like the grab handle.

I discovered Kipling bags less than a year ago. I must have missed the warning that they are addictive (surely there must be one?!) because I now own 9. The Yelinda in lacquer dr blue is one of my favourites. I just LOVE the colour. It is not blue but a lovely shiny dark purple. The bag isn't massive but that is good because it stops shoulder strain. It is just right really, with just enough pockets but not too many that I forget where everything is. I really love the shape of Yelinda. It's a shame it is being discontinued as I would love it in a pretty pink for summer.

I am a Kipling fan so was tempted to buy this bag on a lightning deal. I was very happy with paying mid to high 30s for it though I may balk at the normal 50 for a relatively simple bag. When I opened the package I couldn't believe how small it looked and initially thought it wasn't going to work for me. However having transferred all my items from my Orelie I was surprised to find it a bit of a tardis. Also it still looks small and neat when full. Ultimately I am very happy with my purchase

Choose this to use on holiday. Was taken back by small size of bag because I had something bigger in mind to buy, however it is a beautiful colour and seems very strong so I have kept it and will still be taking it on holiday. I would recommend this bag but I would not buy another kipling bag because you can easily buy a good bag much cheaper. I did buy it out of curiousty to see what all the fuss was about after reading lots of reviews about kipling so I hope this review has helped.

I love this bag.It has heaps of room inside. There are two main big compartments, and the outer zipped section. So plenty of storage space and the outer pocket is great to slip my phone into for easy access.The shoulder strap is easily adjustable and can be made pretty long if required. The bonus is that there is also a handle, so the bag is pretty versatile.Although there is plenty of room in this bag, it doesn't feel or look like it is too massive in bulk.Recommended.

I'm absolutely delighted with it. Everything fits in including my kindle and two pair of glasses - both full framed and bulky, diary, notebook, pens, make-up case and packet of tissues. As another post said, an iPad does not fit in, the zip won't fasten over one corner I particularly wanted this one because of the carry handle. I love the colour- yes, it is bright purple. But as Jenny Joseph's poem says, "When I am an old woman, I shall wear purple"!!!!!

I have many Kipling bags and many cross body bags. This bag looks a bit like a cosmetic carry case but I can live with that. I keep the following in this bag:- Front zipped pocket - travel cards/ passes. Chewing gum, lipbalm, tissues etc.- Front zipped section - phone, purse, make up bag, pens, mp3, small brolly.- Back zipped section - KindleThere is still a bit of room after all that is in there! It's a really spacious well designed bag.

Perfect cross body bag for the mum on the go. I was worried that this bag would be too big and look awkward. Fear not. this is a perfect size. Big enough for all your must haves and a bottle of water too. Ive git loads of space left. Classy colour and style. Oh Dear, I can feel another addiction coming on and that would be Kipling bags. ! Simply perfect. Look no furthur. You've just found the perfect cross body bag you've been searching for.
