I do love Kipling bags and was lucky enough to pick this one up in the recent sale for a very good price. The bag is Plover Black and is patterned, so it doesn’t look severe or plain (as black sometimes can). It is comfortable on the shoulder and you can adjust the strap to the length you want. It does have a Kipling Monkey, but it is the plastic (not the fluffy) kind.The front of the bag closes with a press stud and has a decorative ‘button.’ This flap opens to reveal a front pocket, which closes with Velcro. This pocket easily fits my kindle voyage, just to give you an idea of the size. The main compartment is fairly large and has a zipped, smaller inner pocket, for your train pass or other important bits and pieces.

Pleased that I spent the extra with this, as the fastenings and fabric finish are great quality. I bought dazz tobacco colour as it was cheaper. I was worried that the colour may be a little drab or washed out, bit it is a good mid tan colour... Neutral but still warm and rich. The trim on the edging is a mid sheen old gold colour...sounds gross...and had i known i probably wouldnt have bought it. But the contrast is very subtle and suprisingly looks nice, lifting the design of the bag a little to a higher quality look without looking tacky. Strap is nice and soft. Lining is pale grey with tiny white hearts in a repeat pattern, and feels like it will be wipe clean, nylon?

This is a very roomy bag yet not so big as to be impractical. It is good, too, that it keeps it shape even when it is carrying only a light load. I have been using it on holiday and it has been able to take a Lumix bridge camera (about the same size as a small/entry-level DSLR),small purse, tickets, tissues, rolled up hat, wet wipes, etc.. I normally carry my camera in a specialist bag but we have been visiting some fairly ropey areas where carrying an obvious camera bag would probably attract unwanted attention so it is very useful that I can just shove the camera into a more nondescript bag. The bag itself is light, and can be worn cross body or as a shoulder bag.

Well, what else do you need!I'm not a big handbag girl. I like cross body bag but I also like to carry around a lot of crap. Glasses. Purse. Hardback books etc. I have a lovely radley which I use often but is so small I cant fit much in!!I got this for an everyday/evening use. Something I can fill with everything I need fr day and night. I used it this weekend and packed the following.Purse. Sun cream. Sunglasses. Flip-flops. Leggings. Denim jacket. Mobile. Bag of sweets. Make up bag (only the essentials). And the bag closed! BOOM! Job done! And even when its not full ita not a big flappy bag that's just getting in the way! And the fully adjustable strap just tops it off.

I saw this bag in the Kipling shop on a recent trip to London but it was very expensive in there so I was delighted to see it on Amazon for almost 1/3 of the price ! I was even happier when my lovely husband said he would buy it for Christmas !The grey bag is a beautiful neutral colour and I think it will go with most colours. The bag is generous inside without being overly large , there is one main compartment with a zip pocket and the usual pockets for phone etc . There is also a front pocket that you can slip things into and it fastens with the flap with a magnetic clasp.It holds my slr camera comfortably which was one of the reasons I wanted a larger cross body bag .

I can't recommend this bag enough, it's just perfect. I have been looking for a good sized bag for a while now and couldn't find anything that wasn't either too small or too large. Everything I had in my old bag fit in this one but the Kipling bag is more compact.. Some bags I have had to return recently were quite roomy but their openings were too narrow to retrieve anything. I didn't have this problem with this one as the opening is wide and easily accessible. I love the colour and feel of the bag and can't stop raving to my friends about how good it is! This is the first time I have bought a Kipling bag and must say I will definitely be buying another one.

The bag arrived in time, which was a week after purchase (I live in sweden).I bought a black leaf bag and I really like the black material with leaf pattern on it. The bag is very light and looked small and neat but later I found out that it is very roomy and I can have quite a lot in it.One thing that I don't really like is the strap, which I think is on the smaller size. The width of the strap is about 1inch (2.5 cm) and I prefer a strap that is at least 4cm wide. The smaller strap means the bag becomes a bit uncomfortable when carrying heavy things (like a bottle of watter). But I guess I have to learn not to overload it :-)

I am very pleased with this shoulder bag. It is a great design, with a roomy central section, so I can store glasses, small slim pencil case, large purse, lipstick , hairbrush, mobile phone, card holder , diary and a small plastic envelope which holds identity cards.There are also two pockets and a key ring tag in this section. On the front of the bag there is a central flat pocket which could easily hold purse and phone. The fabric is hard wearing and should wipe clean for light staining. The colours are true to the advertised colours.I have always liked Kipling bags, but this is my favourite to date!

Really nice bag. Big enough for all my essentials with 1 inside zipped pocket, one normal pocket and a phone pocket that easily holds my iphone 5s. It also has one unzipped pocket under the flap which closes with a popper. The zip functions smoothly too. Plus the shoulder strap doesn't slip off my shoulder like some other bags. It also withstood a rain shower and everything remained dry inside. Came with the metal monkey which I prefer. Really pleased with this!

Was looking for a crossbody bag in white for a long time specifically to take on a cruise. I needed a bag that could hold everything but didn't looktoo big and bulky. This bag is just that. It looks stylish, not heavy, even when full, and complements my summer wardrobe well. I only have one criticism in that I was expecting a white bag and this is not, it's more beige. Hence only 4 stars. However, I love it and think it remarkably good value for a Kipling bag.

My second Kipling bag in this style and I wasn't disappointed. Absolutely gorgeous colour, light purple, much roomier than my last light grey one which was a lovely surprise. Plenty of room for all ladies essentials, make up, purse, keys and hair brush. Two inside pockets to hold your phone and other small items. Even used as a bag for night out. Very smart. Bought at an exceptionally good price so I certainly got value for money.

Perfect size for daily use. Not too big or too small. Lovely print but not as bright as expected. The orangey bits are more beige but therefore goes with more outfits as quite subtle.Usual good kipling quality. I now have 11 Kiplings. Love the pretty but practical aspects of them as you can just bung in the washing machine to freshen up and look good as new.Always get compliments on them. Highly recommend.

Kipling bags rarely disappoint. The colour was accurate as shown. I put it into use straightaway as it is a perfect summer weight bag. Surprisingly the mauve colour goes with more or less everything I wear.Design wise I would prefer the front pocket to be zipped and I nearly chose the Syro bag instead because of that. However I like the front flap and I got this at a bargain price. Smiles all round.

Lots of room holding my umbrella, Kipling purse, deodorant, keys, phone, make up and more. Still plenty of space left too. Really well made. Can tell it will last a long time. Would have given the full 5 stars but the monkey on mine was all distorted and out of shape due to how the bag has been packed and stored. I fixed this with some thread, sewing the arms back in place. Happy with my purchase :)

I have a couple of Kipling bags but this is by far my favourite. It's a great colour and a perfect size- no squeezing things into the bag as there's plenty of room. Large main compartment with a smaller,Velcro fastened front picket & of course a small zipped area inside.Nice long,alterable strap.I highly recommend this bag but would prefer you got a different one so I have the best one. :)
