This is a great little bag! I've been looking for a small, lightweight handbag for everyday use to replace my heavy leather bag, thanks to achey shoulders and a sore neck. I chose the Deena because, from looking at Youtube and QVC videos, it seemed to be big enough to hold all my essentials, yet just small enough to force me to pair down the amount of stuff I carry!I've knocked off a star because it's just a tad TOO small for me for everyday, but it's so lovely I'm going to try and work with it, and obvs it's perfect for weekends and travel etc anyway. I just wish it was an inch or two longer and thicker, so that I can drop things in freely, without having to 'pack' them in to make them fit,

I have many Kipling bags and I love them for their quality and durability but I have never found the one that is exactly right for day to day. Well, now I have. Call it the Goldilocks bag: not too small, not too big, just right. The colour, black dots, is very nice. I generally don't like black for clothing or bags but the dot effect gives it that little extra something. Very smart.I also like that it has the usual Kipling quota of pockets but this time, unlike my last Kipling bag, putting stuff in the external pockets does not encroach on the inner space. My phone fits neatly in the front pocket, my large (Kipling) purse fits comfortably into the other front pocket and I have put various bits and bobs - wipes,

Kipling Deena bag at 5 litres capacity is perfect to carry your everyday essentials. If you aren't a ''just in case, pack everything' type of person, this is a great bag. Has two main compartments, and two smaller pockets, one front and back of the bag. There is a key fob in the main body of the bag, a small zipped pocket and two slip pockets for a pen and perhaps a pack of tissues or, gum etc. I like this bag as it's sufficiently big enough to carry all the average daily essentials without being too heavy and cumbersome. This bag makes you focus on your essentials, and you don't overpack it. It will take a bottle of water, 500ml lengthwise, pack on the top. I have a Kipling Bernard wristlet for my cards,

I love this bag, plenty of zips and compartments, and room for all the usual keys phone purse make up etc, I went for the crimson red its a lovely deep red, I am a huge Kipling bag fan I have many and I will probably end up purchasing this again in a different colour. Can I just say if anybody is reading this I have never washed a Kipling bag before apart from the plain white one (which comes up lovely when put on a 30 degree wash in a mesh bag) but my pink bag was filthy and I didn't want to risk losing the colour so I just used warm water and a damp cloth with a tiny bit of upholstery cleaner and it has come up like new! I am only saying this because they aren't cheap bags and I really wasn't sure how to clean and it may help with yours,

I am a self confessed Kipling addict who has smaller cross body bags like the haru, syro, Zamora, moyelle as well as bigger bags in different colors. The deena is so awesome, for days when the haru is too small and syro is too shallow due to the center partition. the deena took away all those problems with zips for all compartments, not too big or small for a stroll around the neighborhood with a toddler. Holds a foldable umbrella, wet wipes, tissues, mobile, lip balms, sweets and sippy cup, diaper and with some space to spare. If I'm on my own, the extra space could stash last min purchases like a top easily. I have it grey, great colour and now I'm eyeing a darker shade as well.

This has to be my perfect Kipling bag and I have rather a lot ( probably too many!!). Plenty big enough to hold my kindle in one zip pocket, the main compartment is generously sized and then there are 2 other compartments as well so easy to find things like sunglasses or reusable shopping bags. Good wide strap which is comfortable to wear cross body. I have the mini geo pattern which matches the Kipling scarf in the same pattern beautifully. Amazon prices are so good I have sent for another Deena in red. Cayleen has been my favourite lately as I like the medium sized Kipling bags but I think the Deena is even better with just a bit more space.

I love this bag!I wanted a small bag for quick trip to the shop taking my phone, keys and purse so I bought the Emoli - perfect.But, I also wanted a slightly bigger bag to take out just a little more when needed ie a folding umbrella, tissues, handgel, etc - the Deena is perfect.Plenty of room in the Deena but not to big - somewhere between small and medium in size. Adjusting the strap it sits nicely on my hip too which is what I wanted. Usual fabric for Kipling - my friend says they wash up nicely in the washing machine but I haven't had it long enough to need to. Good sturdy zips. Love it.

I adore this bag. I bought it for a city break because I thought it would be the right size for Ryanair's 'second cabin bag' and it was perfect. Since we got back it has become my day to day bag and it holds loads for its size. On an average day: sunglasses, keys, purse, shopping bag, headphones, kindle, small makeup bag, manicure kit and wet wipes with room still to spare for other little bits and bobs. My iPad Air does also just fit but I don't take it with me every day. I want one of these in every colour!

Love this bag from Kipling. I had bought a similar bag before which looked like Kipling but was not. Thought it wouldn't make a difference but I was wrong. The other bag broke all over the place and I missed a real Kipling feeling. This handbag has a lot of compartments which I love to keep items separate and easier to find. It has a good shoulder strap which you can adjust. The color was a bit more purple than in the picture but I still love it. Will buy again if this one breaks and if still available.

Perfect small bag, tardis like and very well made as you would expect from Kipling. Yes, there are cheaper 'look a likes' out there, and generally they're fine (I have several) but in my experience they are neither as well made nor anything like as long lasting so could be a false economy especially if buying a wardrobe 'staple'. In the dark chocolate colour, this small bag is smart enough for everyday business use and casual enough for social occasions.

Slightly smaller than I expected as I am used to a larger Kipling bag, this is very similar to the Kipling breezer bag in size but on saying that it is quite adequate to carry purse, spectacles, make up bag etc. But I don't think it would be big enough to use as a work bag, I tend to use this bag for shopping days etc as it can be worn over the shoulder or across body and it is extremely comfortable to carry around all day, colour is lovely too.

My second Deena and won't be the last! Love Kipling bags and have a great collection. This is the ideal bag for me - crossbody or shoulder, nicely organised, roomy without being too big. Not usually a one for the prints but this is fabulous in real life and so pleased I went for it. Even more pleased at the price I paid as Amazon had one of their silly price days on this one and I was lucky enough to take advantage - more please Amazon!!!

Have several kipling bags in various colours, but my navy bag, which I use more than any of them, did not have enough pockets to accommodate all my daily holiday essentials (sunglasses, small sun cream, reading glasses. tissues, comb, make up etc. etc.). This one is ideal, having many more pockets even though the overall size is about the same and this is due to the additional "pouch" on the front, which is surprisingly unobtrusive.

Really pleased with this bag. I already have an Alvar and this was great for travelling and carrying extra paperwork and passports etc but I wanted something smaller for everyday use. I suffer with neck and shoulder pain, hence the need for a cross the body bag and the Deena is perfect as I can still carry purse, umbrella, mobile phone and two pairs of glasses plus sundries - brush, tissues etc. Will definitely buy another colour!

I love the bag. I wanted one that fitted every thing in but not too bag.it goes with casual and formal wear.I have 5 Kipling bags ranging from thesmall to the tote.I had not got one in between this one is perfect .Wouldlike another this size in grey so need to start saving.If the bag turns outto be not what you want there is no problem to return and your refund isback in your bank ASAP.
