I love this hood as an alternative to the one that came with my fuji xf23mm. It is metal and fits well with the aesthetic of the camera better that the tulip plastic crappy one that fuji ship with the lens. It also provides good bump protection. I have not done a bunch of testing for flair with and without the good but it seems to work well.One note of caution. The original fuji les caps do not fit very well after application of the hood. They do stay in but not very securely. I had to make a small mod and now they work well

Bought for and fitted to a fuji xf56mm f1.2 lens.I've no idea if this shades the lens enough to prevent glare but that isn't why i got it - this is a brilliant minimalist short lens hood to protect the front element of my lens when carrying my camera in public places. the camera/lens/hood combo still fits into my camera bag nicely and allows a nikon pinch grip lens cap to be fitted inside the hood. Perfect simple discrete solution.

Since it's been raining the past couple days, used this and my lens was absolutely fine after and got some beautiful shots. Extremely good value for money considering it's under a tenner!

I bought this after returning a different branded that was very very poor. This one however was perfect, very well made, nicely threaded with a good firm grip of the lens.
