This is a nice easy model to build. It is a reasonably accurate late build M4A3E8 Sherman. The tank in the movie Fury was supposed to be one of these, but due to availability of tanks for the movie, "Fury" was actually an M4A2E8. The most obvious difference is the engine grille, but once loaded with stowage (which Italeri has done well) only the "Shermanoholics" would notice. This model with stowage and decals builds up onto a fairly convincing replica of Fury. It includes the post WW2 T84 type tracks, which were fitted to the movie tank. The parts fit is good, careful fitting, at least on mine, required no use of filler. The decals were fine, and no carrier film was evident after laying them over gloss clear. Both .30 and .50 cal guns are included, as is the German helmet and gasmask, logs, jerry cans, ammo boxes, bucket and various boxes and crates. If there are any "faults" in the kit, they mostly lie in the instructions. Don't apply white stars to Fury, and don't fit the guards over the drivers and assistant drivers hatches, the instructions call them out, Fury had neither. That, and the stowage is not 100% correct, but close enough, and the spare track fitted on the front glacis panel for driver protection, is the wrong type. Italeri provides some track from Fury's HVSS suspension and bogie/wheel type, but the movie tank had a section of the older VVSS suspension. Not that the average builder would notice, or care. I did, but that's me. Overall, this kit goes together well, looks the part, and with a little fettling and attention to detail, will make a convincing replica rivaling Tamiya/Taska kits (which don't have logs and much stowage) for well under half or third the price. The decals are few, but accurate (except the tanks platoon number, but its only seen for a second in the movie, and is hard to read), and the rubber tracks can be made to look convincing. If you are a fan of Fury, and can't justify spending big $$$, this model kit is for you. You won't be disappointed : )Read full review...

I have built several kits before, most by Tamiya. Whilst this is perhaps not quite up to the standard of Tamiya's more recent kits, it is on par with their older ones. There are a couple of mistakes in the instructions (parts mislabelled) but nothing too problematic. The kit comes with a vast selection of stowage which is nice. It is not exactly the same as the film version it is based on but with a few scratch parts it can be made more realistic. A good fun kit to build.

Had great fun building this kit, especially as Fury is one of my favourite tanks! It went together well and was enjoyable to paint (I used an airbrush for the base coat & camouflage but a fine brush for the details). For me, the feature that really finished this model off compared to most were the additional accessories such as the logs on the side and boxes etc on the rear.I would recommend this kit, especially if you are looking for a detailing challenge!

Everything fits and goes together well, no major panel gaps. Some moulding flash on the odd part but nothing that can't be trimmed off. Lots of fine details and you will definitely need tweezers or very very small hands. Plenty of stowage supplied, even a few spares you can put on other models if you wish.Comes with two sets of rubber tracks depending on the design you're after.

this kit is good but when compared to the tamiya kit it falls shortits a rebox of the old dragon kit the main problem is how the road wheels and suspention fix to the hull if your carefulits ok but this is the weak spot on the kit good kit not great

Not a bad model. Not an exact movie replica, but relatively easy to modify and improve with a bit of imagination and a smudge of milliput.P. S. Don't follow the painting guide, watch the movie and look at some images from the film!

This kit is great, so much detail. Just don't trust some of the instructions as they're backwards, you'll probably find out for yourself. But other than that, fantastic. Just bring your tweezers!

Exactly as in the "Fury" film. Looking forward to building this superb kit. The only gripe is that the Hull and Turret have very low Casting detail otherwise awesome. Highly recommended.

This is a very detailed build with lots of external parts. Really enjoyed making and painting it. Highly recommended. More for the experienced modeller.

Detail looks great. Stowage may need suppementing in order to look closer to the on screen tank, but this should be simple with putty and string etc.

This is on the back burner to build, for now, but I loved the movie and haven't built a Sherman before, so Fury movie fans should give it a go.

A super model of the Sherman tank used in the film Fury. Very detailed and lots of parts that make a fantastic model. I recommend.
