After searching everywhere without much luck for a reasonably priced Large scale F-14 Tomcat Kit for my TopGun obsessed Bro-in-law's Christmas present. I found this Italeri kit. It's quite a reasonable price for such a large kit. From past experience back in the days when i was in shorts I always found that Italeri although no where near as good as Tamiya or Hasegawa products was a better quality kit than airfix but I was always Disapointed with one thing they never gave pilots. No change here; the box states figures not included >:-(. So It looks like my Bro-in-law will not have Maverick or Mother Goose sitting in his F-14, but I'm sure he won't have many sleepless nights over it.The Box is surprisingly small for such a large kit.

I was looking for a tomcat for me and my son to build together. Not made yet but looks a good kit and ideal for what are level of build is. A very good price compared to other models of the tomcat plane, i.e. Tamiya,
