Love this coffee. I have a Gaggia Classic and it took a lot of trying different brands to find the perfect grind to get the best quality espresso (to make flatwhites with the right amount of crema). I even bought a burr grinder to try and make my own from whole beans. It was too hit and miss. The basket would either block and just drip over-extracted espresso, or just run though under-extracted hot brown water. Illy seems to be perfect every time. I just tamp down the coffee, with quite a bit of pressure, and it runs the same every time. Perfect crema and enjoyable coffee. I used to drink the Classico, but tried this Intenso and can't go back now. I do prefer a stronger coffee, especially in the morning.

One of my absolute favourites that I can get on Amazon subscribe and save but the price fluctuates a bit and borders on the too expensive and so I often skip deliveries when the price is up. You can go to a decent artisan coffee shop and buy their, usually nicer, beans for a similar price to this, but for something "off the shelf" illy is a very consistent and tasty coffee

Love illy coffee and I like my coffee strong, had a Nespresso machine and the pods were really expensive considering how much I drink one pod wasnt enough for a smallish mug so Always used 2..So got a filter machine and my first brew I used 4 scoops with 750ml of water... Il still be awake next Tuesday but the coffee was good!

This is a very nice, darker roast type coffee - strong flavour and aroma. It’s a very fine grind though which means its slow to flow in a paper filter but you get a good flavour. Love the tin packaging as good to store and recycle compared to foil type packs.it’s a bit of a premium price but it is a very enjoyable coffee

I first came across Illy coffee when holidaying in Florence - with my friends we went everyday to a cafe-bakery for breakfast. They served strong Illy coffee - great! It needs to be served strong to bring back those memories of Florence. I have found it best made in a filter machine - one heaped spoonful for an expresso!

Does what it says on the tin - dark roast and provides a great start to the day. Dark, strong coffee with a lovely aroma and the full body expected with Illy coffee. Works well in a filter an also just about fine enough to use in a stove top moka pot.

Best quality ground coffee for all types of coffee making. I tried with french press and espresso machine. Best dark full bodies flavour. For espresso machine do not fill too much to allow enough water to flow. Its my best dark roast ground coffee.

Lovely, wouldn't normally buy it online but it actually works out cheaper and saves having to wait to get into any shops at the moment saved any hassle there. As it's an Illy product the taste is great but more expensive than other brands.

Thank you for offering this wonderful coffee at an affordable price. Cannot recommend enough - the flavour, the smoothness, the taste.... however i will not allow myself to buy at normal price £7 as extortionate in my humble view!

We buy this all the time.. My wife loves the Espresso and I drink Cappucino. Way better than most of the Costas and Café Neros.Normal price is around £6.50 a time and when I see it for £5 or less I stock up.

If you just want to drink a proper strong coffee I definitely recommend this product. It doesn't take you a spritual flavour journey it's just a coffee and taste like a coffe that's what I'm looking for...

Rich taste, I take it with a dash of milk my wife drinks it black. I use it in one of those screw on Coffey metal jugs you put on the stove, ready in 4min Smells nice, tastes good so would recommend.

Wooohoooo! Love this stuff! Best ground coffee I have ever used in my filter coffee machine. A lovely dark roast flavour and plenty of caffeine. Been a busy, buzzy mummy today!

My favorite coffee. £6.50 regular price. I hate to pay that. Delighted if I can get it close to £5. Maybe 60% of the time I have been able to.
