Thank god I finally found a place in UK to order this. Unfortunately, Italy is a great misconception and one from abroad might think "italian" coffee is just italian coffee. Well, it doesn't work that way. The place with the greatest tradition for coffee and also with the best coffee makers is Naples. And this brand is coming straight from there and I can assure it's great, tasty, strong coffee. Forget Lavazza, that's just rubbish.

I know in Italy, particularly Naples, that Kimbo is the preferred brand, but I still like to make my own blend & the coffee I use as my base is Lavazza Crema Gusto in the blue & red pack.This is a little rougher & even though I do like strong coffee, my husband likes it a little lighter, hence the blending. I use a stove top Italian coffee maker - which every italian household uses.

I have known Kimbo coffee for a good few years and it is wonderful to be able to purchase this product in the UK. For many years our suitcases were stuffed with 12 - 18 packets of Kimbo on return from Italy.There is no coffee like it, when you have become aclimatised to the taste. The deep and slightly syrupy taste is to wait, anticipate and to savour.
