If you love the ‘book like’, form factor of the old and great Nexus 7 then you will love this tablet because it improves on the Nexus in every way; good performance, great quality and excellent display for a very reasonable price. The MediaPad M3 is a good quality 8-inch tablet. The hardware is first class, with solid performance from the processor/memory combination. Very good screen IPS high resolution excellent viewing angles. Case is solid aluminium and feels quality in your hands. There is a headphone socket (but no phones included in the box). The loudspeakers deliver good sound. Front fingerprint sensor works brilliantly for convenient unlocking. Only slight downside is the side bezels which are very thin and this can make hand-holding in portrait mode a bit awkward. Also there is no NFC chip.The software (Jan-18) is Android 7 and EMUI 5. Boots quickly at least it does when new.

Amazing value tabletI got this for drawing and to use Social media. It's a medium sized tablet which makes it more portable than an iPad, I never had any problems with it until it required special positions to charge, we bought to a repair shop and found out the battery was going in it. I've had it for almost 3 years before the battery went. Very good tablet but parts may be hard to find since it is an older device.The camera quality is alright but the video quality was never too good. The glass on the m3 will easily get scratches and if you are getting one get a screen protector, I never had one for mine but it is recommended.The battery is decent and charges quickly.

I really like this tablet. It's fast, has a great display, and works well - so far, within the first 3 weeks, no problems whatsoever, no crashes, etc. Nonetheless, I am quite disappointed. Some reviews and the official description led me to believe that it would be updated to Android 7.0 during setup. Which wasn't the case - my tablet still runs on 6, and when checking it reports no updates. Then I contacted the Huawei customer service to ask about the Android upgrade to Nougat. Someone promptly asked for my serial number, which I provided, and then I did not hear from them again. With this outdated OS (the Google Pixel meanwhile runs on Android 8, after all!) and the terrible customer service this product is,

26/02/2018Best tablet I've ever used.Exudes class and quality. Intelligently designed with sensible and well integrated feature set and accordingly very easy to use - they seem to have thought of everything. Even their own Swype keyboard is good, although not up to the standards of the original Swype + Dragon which astonishingly is now being discontinued in any case.Only drawback is lack of integrated app drawer, but that's a small price to pay for what is otherwise perfect, and Nova Launcher fixes that in any caseIf this is anything to go by, I will definitely buy Huawei stuff again.21/03/2019Still performing flawlessly. Only point I would comment on is poor placement of power and volume buttons,

This is fantastic. I was replacing a Nexus 7 android, which I loved, but which really couldn't keep up with me any more. This Huawei is great. The display is nice and clear, and plays films and media well. The speakers on either side of the tablet give good sound quality. A big plus was that I could automatically port over all of my apps by syncing it with the Nexus, which saved no end of fuss. A great tablet, perfect for what I need, and a great price. I don't play fast moving games, so can't comment on that, but it gives excellent performance for swipe and touch games like candy crush.

Very happy with this tablet and would give it 6* if i could! Excellent screen resolution makes it ideal for comfortably watching videos and reading e-books and a form factor that makes it ideal for carrying around in a shoulder bag (unlike my Nexus 10 which is a little on the bulky side). Not the cheapest tablet out there but definitely the best value for money i could find for a tablet with such a good spec - and i did a LOT of research before parting with my cash. Highly recommended.

Super super fast. Feels great in my hands. The RAM and CPU are the reasons why I purchased it. Smooth GUI...I used to think Samsung was the best.. After my Note 4 battery blew up in my hand and luckily seconds before I had put to my ear.. I swore never another Samsung... I knew the quality of Huawei because my Note 4 was replaced with a Mate 9.

Great machine as everybody says based on first days use. However beware that this model DOES NOT HAVE SIM SLOT there is another version for same price which does. I will have to return this and order the phone enabled version from amazon. Not a big problem with one day delivery I hope but slightly disappointing.

Fantastic tablet! Blistering fast and premium build quality., Superb display and with the ability to control aspects of the display like colour temperature. This tablet also has amazing sound, best I've ever heard from such a device. Battery life is great, honestly I cannot fault this tablet!

Very good quality tablet. Perhaps the best 8inch android tablet now. This is a UK version, comes with UK plug charger. It was released in EU last yea. I don't understand why the quantity is so limited in UK. And I actually cannot find any news about if Huawei M3 is available in UK or not.

Pros-Surprisingly good speakers.-Battery lasts for a long time even when gaming.-Huawei optimise bloatware is actually useful in keeping the tablet running fast.-range of colours on the screen and vividCons-Only cons found was that the screen wasn't that bright.

This tablet is absolutely brilliant for the money and it has fast charging and it has a good life (dependent on use and what battery apps you have for it etc.) Other than that, really clear screen and really lovely to watch movies on and play games on etc.

Bought this for my mother, she really likes it. Video calling quality is pretty good and the overall quality of the tablet is good.The fact there is no back button is a bit weird if you're accustomed to Android devices, but you get used to it.

Extremely good; by far the best tablet for the price, especially because you can actually fit it in your pocket. I use it as a phone, no joke!BEWARE: it has NO screen glass protection technology (Gorilla glass, etc). Very annoying.
