Okay, first I state I only gave four stars as it asked me how I rated the flavour.....I mean really! Do they expect me to try it?? Does my cat like it? How do I know?!! To be fair, my other cat raids it. So it must be okay. Although it could be out of the fact he likes to keep her in her place......So. Does she like it? She eats it. It asked me to rate thickness! I ask you! Well. I rate the thickness of the person who designed those questions as 1 star! Has it made a difference? Well. They claim you see a difference after 3 weeks. Hummmmmm. More like at least six weeks! She is on her second bag. And I can confirm she is not being sick anymore. Only once in weeks. And her mad running around has slowed right down.

This is brilliant. Works well for my cat. The vet recommended it to us as she cannot tolerate thyroid medication without it making her very poorly. To try a dietary alternative the vet suggested I put her on this. That was about four years ago. She’s eighteen now and still on it. It has to be fed exclusively (nothing else, no treats etc.) for it to work. Her thyroid levels are now within normal range. Because each cat is different though speak to your vet before feeding this. You’ll need veterinary advice to determine whether this is the right option for your cat.

This is brilliant for a cat with an over active thyroidMy cat loves it and has already started putting on weight ...his coat looks so much better and he isn’t as hungry as he was before ...he has only been eating it for 3-4 weeks so I’m hoping to see more improvement as time goes onLike a lot of cats he couldn’t tolerate the medication. I will always give him this now plus a little wet food.It’s great that Amazon sell it as it can be difficult to buy in the pet shops and cheaper than the vets.

The labels on these prescription products take a bit of getting used to. Luckily my purry girlie loved it and gobbled it down. I wish I'd realised that there was a 5kg bag that was much better value as this was not clear. Neither is the flavour options on the YD tinned product. Still waiting to see if it works, but a good start as she likes it. It took anage to arrive and the packaging was difficult and amateurish.

Fingers crossed my cat is eating this so far. She won't touch the wet food equivalent. This seems to be having some positive effects even after a few days. Delivery was quite slow though, so it needs some forward planning to make sure you keep stocked up. I wish I'd realised there's a better value 5kg bag before I paid more for the 1.5kg bags, as it is pricey, but its worth it if it helps.

I just wish it had been available in smaller quantities. Although my cat happily ate this food she wouldn’t accept it as her only source of food, and eventually a thyroid operation was needed as the available medicines disagreed with her. She is still eating her way through this food slowly despite thankfully no longer having a thyroid problem.

Ideal for an older cat that has teeth loss like my 14 year old cat , she was fat but had started to lose some weight ,so I got these as it said regulated thyroid function which cats tend to lose when older, she seems to have gained and stabilised weight again ,and likes them and is a bit fussy at times ,this is my second bag for her ,

Special iodine-free diet for hyperthyroid cats when other treatments are not feasible. Feeding my geriatric cat this diet only has kept her alive and well for 18 months after a partial thyroidectomy. Fortunately she will eat this diet as her only food source.

My vet recommended this product because the test on my cat for a Thyroid problem was inconclusive. I'm trying this to see if it makes a difference. It is a expensive so a smaller packet would have been better.

Nothing wrong with the food except that the cat; an important factor, was not particularly impressed but had to eat at some point. She preferred the dried but is now better and doesn't need this diet.

I don’t know about the flavour I havnt tasted them .. I’ve asked the cat ... he’s not given me a reply but he seems to go back for more .. so they must be pretty much ok

After feeding this to my cat for 4 weeks she looked much better and had put on 400g 10%of her body weight. So glad I went for this instead of medication .

I had almost ran out and the cat food arrived before the estimate delivery day which was a tremendous help. Cats love the cat toy in the box. Thank you

My cat was poorly, vomiting couldn't keep food down, gave her this and she's great now and it encourages her to drink water. Would highly recommend. ?
