I'm much more of a fan of scotch single malts than American whiskeys, but saw this in a lightning deal and thought I'd give it a go. I was very pleased that i did.The initial flavour is a fairly standard big, woody bourbon hit, nothing too original there. But underneath that were some lovely fruity depths with hints of other flavours that my non expert status make me reluctent to describe. Safe to say this is a really lonely drop and not quite like anything else I've tried. If you fancy something a bit different this is well worth a try.

I'm a fan of Four Roses Small batch and Angels Envy, but I'm in no way a expert. But my taste buds tell me Bernheim makes the most delicious "jack n coke" I've ever had. It's my go to American drink. I just wish it was less expensive in the UK. Luckily the bottle shape makes it easy to bring back home! An outstanding product and well worth treating yourself.
