Overall: a good quality VoIP phone for the budget market, with supplied power.This model would probably not suit someone who had no knowledge of VoIP, networking or SIP account configuration as the supplied manual is basis to say the least. The majority of configuration is performed via a web interface once the device has gained either a local DHCP or static IP address. The web interface will then allow you to configure your SIP account details from your VoIP provider.All other settings can then be modified as required, including ringtones, advanced network settings, SIP settings, call volumes etc.I have been using this device for a good few weeks at this point and have not found any down sides to operation.

Grandstream appear to have really upped their game. I used an old Budgetone BT100 for years, which was OK, if nothing special. The new GXP-1620 is in a different class though. It feels like a quality product - very well finished with nice plastics and a pleasing appearance. Performance is excellent, and with provision for two separate SIP accounts, it's versatile, too. One thing I really like is the ability to sync my Google contacts with the phone, albeit with a third-party script. There are probably lots of features that I don't use; the bottom line is that this is a great phone, recommended without hesitation.

Having replaced my parents' costly underused landline with a Sipgate account; they have nothing but high praise for how easy to use this device is. Bear in mind both of my folks are now well into their retirement and so don't possess much technical prowess themselves - however they now happily check their voicemail, make and receive calls and access the very handy on device phonebook 'just like a real phone'Of course it'd need a bit of fiddling to setup with Sipgate etc; but once setup - it's almost idiotproof.

Overall, is worth money if you want spending less like other brands. Make a good job, sound is perfect clear both ways. Configuration is also easy. Display also is clear to read. My point of opinion about display, could by bit better but phone is for make a calls not reading from display ? and does their job well.

Works well for the price and does exactly what I need it to. Am only taking a star off as setup was a pain!!! Using the browser-based control panel only worked after a firmware update and by following extensive instructions online.

Works perfectly, easy to set up with my VoIP phone service. Looks the part too in an office environment! It's set up by logging into the IP address on your computer, which brings up an admin menu.

Extremely fast delivery, excellent budget VoIP phone. Simple enough to set up, but still has a vast range of features and settings. Definitely recommend.

Not easy to install ...but when you get it working its great ,however it really takes a software Internet expert to install.

Works well, but the light never goes off completely. I don't like that in a room where I sleep.
