Not quite sure what the point of writing a review for whisky is, as it’s so subjective. What I like you might not, and vice-versa.But, here’s my two cents worth anyway, and in fact, this is a whisky that just might suit everyone...My view - it is absolutely beautiful.It has a slight sweetness to it, with a hint of caramel and toffee, but also a bit smokiness as well and you can certainly taste a little peat. Notice the use of the words “slight”, “hint” and “little” here. This is a very subtle mix of flavours that work perfectly together.I am a fan of your peaty Islay malts - the Laphroaigs and Lagavulins of this world. And whilst this whisky doesn’t hit you in the face like those do,

Not a bad whisky for the price. I found it to be more smokey than sweet. Surprising, considering the dark caramel-brown colour. Aroma is very subtle. I usually prefer whisky neat, but with this one I found that a splash of water or an ice cube helps open up the flavour. Good choice if you wan to try something different, but don't expect fireworks either. It's an interesting budget single malt.

Bought for my other half, asked him for a review:"I liked it, it was tasty".... well thanks for that!It's lighter than you expect as the bottle is darker at the bottom, "it's not too peaty", smooth with a bit of sweetness to it.

Lovely experimental scotch from glenfiddich, quite peaty for my taste but enjoyable all the same.If like me your taste is for a less peaty scotch the glenfiddich xx project is excellent.

This is rather a sweet whisky and in my opinion not that smokey at all the rum cask taste comes through with a slight burnt sugar after taste if you like light whisky then enjoy over ice

Hubby does not like Glenfiddich as hec says too fiery for him but bought this for him to try and he is very impressed with the flavour.

Too much smoke for my palate but that’s personal opinion, lovely nose and colour. Reminded me of Islay whiskies rather than Speyside

Bought March 2021 and I can confirm it does come with the presentation box.Whisky is very Smokey.

Great product, very smooth tasting whiskey & lovely bottle. Delivery however was terrible.
