This is very compact and light - will even fit into a small bag of mine. However, it is not wind resistant and struggles when it's gusty. It is great to have the press button to open it with just one hand, particularly if you are getting out the car and don't want to get wet. But it is a little more hassle once you've closed it because unless you push the umbrella back into the fully closed position, it will not open again with the press button action. It took me a while to work this out...I've had it for a few months now and it's still in good shape, spokes all in place so that is worth recommending.

I was looking for a light and small umbrella to carry in my hand bag and which opened automatically. This one is great, light, compact and it opens and closes automatically at the touch of a button. It's very pretty too. I haven't used it yet under the rain, so cannot comment on its sturdiness. Only negative point hence my 4 stars, it's very hard to close. I guess it must be the automatic opening mechanism. I wouldn't recommend it to an elderly lady as she would struggle to close it after use, but if you have strong arms and grip it's fine.

Really like this umbrella. Lovely colour and pattern and is great size for most handbags. Doesn't have a long shaft or a big canopy span but is about standard for these slim/mini umbrellas. Have used in the wind and rain and it seems quite sturdy. Unusual open and close mechanism but I'm getting used to it now. The auto-open button is within the handle so you have to release that first and it closes automatically too with a push of the same button. Smaller and lighter than my previous brolly so don't even notice it in my bag.

I wanted a light umbrella that I could carry with me in the external pocket of my trolley bag suitcase, open with 1 hand and be strong enough to resist moderate wind and not cost 50 quid. This is mostly it, light, small enough to fit where I need it. Its buttton not only opens it, but also close it, which is a little plus that I did not know when I bought it.My only negative is that it cannot resist too much wind, but then again, now I'm not sure if any umbrella of this size can.All in all, good purchase.

This is my favourite model of an umbrella because it is extremely light and small for an automatic umbrella - I've been looking for many years and still haven't found anything better in terms of size/function. It fits even into my clutch and into all handbags. Being semi-automatic means that I need only one hand to open and close it - great when you going into a car, carrying shopping and coming out of a shop, opening a door.Great product, would highly recommend to anyone.

Having tried numerous umbrellas which usually fall apart in strong wind (if I don't lose them), this is one I like the most and have bought several times. It is quite sturdy, very compact, and spring-loaded which is handy if it suddenly starts raining.Note it doesn't come with instructions, and it took me a while to figure out that to close the umbrella properly you need to press the top down firmly e.g. on the ground to reset the spring-loading.

Despite from the fact that I love the automatic feature of opening and closing I think it's a bit too weak. i guess it's the compromise for the size and portability. the umbrella contruction seems ok but not that robust. it was windy the first time I've used and the umbrella went upside down with a strong wind hit it.i guess it was OK and some of the other reviews mentioned that already. I hope it last long.

It might not be suited for strong breezes but I can't go without this easy and light piece of cover for the rain. It doesn't take any place in my handbag. I've been using other small umbrellas once my previous Fulton was broken but none of them lived up to it. I'm just keeping them as a reserve.

It's a really nice little umbrella. It will just about fit in an inside jacket pocket. The rubber-like handle is far more comfortable than some cheap plastic thing. Had it a year; used it a lot (Thanks Britain!); some strongish winds and it's still OK.

I had my last automatic umbrella for several years before it finally broke, and I looked around carefully for a replacement. It's small enough to keep in my bag all the time, and the automatic open and close features work very well.

This is my go to brolly as it fits into most of my bags and is pretty light weight so it’s easy to carry around. It provides excellent cover from rain. Living in London means I’m the one that always has my umbrella on me. Haha.

The great thing about this umbrellla is the size. It neatly fits into my handbag. The open and close functionality works well but metal frame is not as durable as you would expect for an umbrella of that price.

This is a well made and very light weight umbrella that fits easily into my work bag. I bought the automatic one to save having to use two hands to put up in the rain and it is very convenient. Luv it!

Works brilliantly and seems a great idea. Won't be able to review too well yet as it's a Christmas Present for my Mumbut I am sure she will love it as Automatic closing is a total bonus............

This is the 2nd one of these Ive had. The last 1 lasted me 10 years until I lost it. Great compact size. Highly reliable and easily fits in to a coat or jacket pocket.
