This product has been effective in killing ticks after nearly three months when the next treatment is recommended.Our lurcher is into smelling all manner of scents and has had a series of three ticks attach themselves to her ears. The first two ticks each dropped off after two, maybe three days without any attention from us. The third tick was noticed a couple of days before our dog was due at the vets for her annual injection and check-up and while the vet actually took the tick out, the tick failed to grow into a normal bloated body but stayed thin and looked more like a splinter of wood and was clearly on its way before the vet intervened.

I have given this 5 stars so that it will be seen. Used it on my large 6 month old dog who, within minutes, became weak and listless, then started throwing up. I showered him thoroughly, and immediately, and shampooed the area with detergent. He started to improve within the hour. I checked online and many people were citing very similar reactions to each other, from what happened to my dog to seizures and long term problems. I am throwing the rest away and staying with natural options. Oh yes, and the chemical used in these products is a carcinogen. Marvellous!

Does what it says on the tin and stops fleas and ticks (or I assume it does) we have yet to find any fleas or ticks on our Labrador after 3 years of using this product so I would say that correlates fairly strongly.Recommend applying once a month in the summer and if your dog is often in woods, field or other similar areas otherwise for domestic based and cruelly kept garden dogs once every three months should be just fine.Also, bear in mind that this is some strong stuff so always test a small amount on your dogs skin before the first application.

Anyone with dogs and cats probably knows 'Frontline Spot On', a very effective treatment to stop fleas and ticks, I am, however, just learning that you can buy it on Amazon instead of at the vets as I've been doing so for years. Same product but 3x treatments for under £20 instead of £12 per treatment at the vets...its a no brainer. I only wish I realised sooner!

These pipettes are great value and will last for 12 months. They have a long shelf date so I will use this company again as I know they are trusted and the product is what I normally buy for my dog. My dog has used these since she was a puppy and now at 5 years we have never had a problem with fleas or ticks so I am happy to say I recommend these every time.

I've used many brands of spot on treatments across several breeds of dog. Long story short, Frontline is more expensive but it does the job better than any other offering and doesn't cause irritation to the dog in most cases.I've had one instance where it caused a reaction on my dog and that happened with any brand. He had to use a vet solution instead.

Flea treatment that works. It seems to lose its potency mid way but with other ways of flea prevention/treatment you can help your dog be comfortable and flea free.Make sure you don't take your dog out in rainy weather/bathe it until at least 24 hours after the treatment is applied as this can shorten the protection by up to half/quarter.

Considering how many treatments you receive it's totally worth the money. I use to use one similar then tried alternative one but nothing works as well as this one does. I totally recommend it. I use it on my dog and just have to make sure she doesnt get wet for 48 hours so it can fully work I love it, pain free

I have used frontline for many years now. I've never found any fleas or lice. I can't really comment on ticks as I usually remove them before they find skin as my dogs are fluffy & white! I have found ticks attached on occasion though, so i wouldn't rely on frontline to protect against ticks...

I have always used frontline for my pets both cats and dogs and always found it to work, however this latest time it has had no effect with live adult fleas on both cats and my dog. This is now 5 days after treatment and we are still finding live fleas. It clearly does not work anymore.

Resorted to this after using ineffective natural prevention of tick remedy. This works fairly well. Nowhere near as many ticks on our dogs, and hopefully any that we don't detect will die. Will buy again as our dogs don't have any adverse reaction to them.

Having spent a fortune on vet flea treatment I’ve discovered that this works just as well. Very happy with this treatment, just have to remember to make sure my dog doesn’t jump in the water for 24 hours after putting it on him otherwise it washes off..

Seems crazy but my vet told me not all anti flea products can be used on Border collies because of the way they're wired!!Apparently you can not use advantage??I haven't tried as my collie is bonkers enough.This seems to work fine so all good.

Bought this as you can use on pregnant bitches. Easy to use pippetes from a market leader. You obviously pay more for the brand and if my dog wasn't having puppies I'd have stuck with the cheaper alternative that I already have.

Have a female chocolate Labrador this does what it say and is a reasonable price too. I like that it comes with little stickers you can put on your calender to remind yourself when the next does is due as I am always forgetting.
