I bought this part as an add on to my router for edge trimming. It can be adjusted with the rails which is sometimes better then the dust catcher that swivels around underneath. It works so well I actually had glue build up that needed scraping out, left from edge trimming after a project.The opening is very wide, just make sure you have your router bit plunged to the full depth you need and make sure it doesn’t come in contact with the dust extraction vent opening. It’s easy to forget if you are using a wide router bit and repeating at different depths of cut.
