I personally don't like pens or pencils that are too lightweight. The TK-Fine Executive is well balanced, and its slender barrel rests on my hand with a reassuring weight. It also writes smoothly and doesn't give that scratchy feedback that some mechanical pencils do.The TK-Fine Executive is the only mechanical pencil I found to be a real joy to use throughout my highschool and college days, when there was plenty of writing to do. I am glad to finally have it back in my work bag again.

Excellent pencil, the rubber idea is very good, it does lengthen the overall pencil, but no big deal.
