This pencil was recommended to me by a production designer and they really are a nice addition to my drawing supply bag. For precision, like any regular wood pencil, it needs to be sharpened often. Be sure to buy the sharpener as a regular pencil sharpener will not work.The graphite is very smooth and of very high quality. There are no bumps or grit that scratches the paper or vellum like cheaper pencils sometimes have. It comes with one stick of graphite inside and you can order refills.

Absolutely love these clutch pencils! So much better than the cheaper, thinner plastic ones. The lead is thicker, therefore has a more 'substantial' feel to it (you don't worry it's going to snap with too much pressure!), and the body of the pencil sits well in the hand. My granddaughter loves to use 'Nana's special pencil' to do her homework!

Great quality little pencil, all parts (apart from outer case) are made from metal which makes it a good solid pencil. I used my lathe and made a new outer case so now its solid metal, makes a fantastic implement that would give Parker a run for their money!

Good product, feels great. Comfortable and protects inner led very well.Definitely recommend if you like your pencils especially mechanical. Easy to use many led thicknesses and also adjust the length of led at the end.

Nice pencil, does what it should do! For me it is nicely balanced and feels good. Nice to use for general stuff during work as well as sketching. Would suggest getting a sharpener/pointer to keep it sharp though.

Wanted a clutch pencil, got fed up with pencils constantly being supplied with lead/graphite breaking. Chose a quality brand. Purchased spares and a sharpener. well pleaseddelivery was prompt.

What can you say? A mechanical clutch pencil that is just what it is! Works very well. Well made, should last long time, I hope. Can get refils much cheaper than the branded ones.

Amazing tool for both technical drawings and sketching. I only wish it had a built-in sharpener like the other models. Nevertheless, still outstanding quality and comfort.

If, like me, you were brought up to consider the best Chrismas present was a propelling pencil then the clutch type is a vast improvement - I have four in constant use.

Great pencil. I used many of thesebefore for drawing but I never bought it online. This time I tried and very satisfied. Happy sketching and painting now!

This clutch pencil is great. It is not heavy to hold. I have an HB lead in it, but bought 2B leads as well for it. Would recommend this product.

Excellent mechanical pencil. Bought this for my 9 year old and the slightly tapered grip fits his grip perfectly. Hard to beat Faber-Castell.
