Love these crayons! Great colours and so far haven't had to sharpen any which is a hige bonus. We've had them for a month and they've been used primarily by a three year old who hasn't managed to break any of them yet. As a teacher I also love the fact that the triangular shape of the crayons encourages children to hold them correctly. The colours show up well with quite light pressure being applied so they are ideal for younger children. Will definitely be buying these again but probably not for a while as they seem to be lasting very well!

Really good pencils for any child making their first attempts at writing their name or any kind of mark making but excellent for those with special needs. My son has a learning disability which affects his fine motor skills and these pencils with their chunky 'toblerone' profile have really helped him. After just a few weeks his tripod grip is much stronger and his pencil control more accurate. It's not a magic wand - he still has a long way to go- but he seems less fatigued with effort and can stick at it for longer.

Box of pencils like it says on the tin :) Nice chunky pencils in a triangular shape. They seem to help my son to grip the pencil better. His teacher recommend trying these as his handwriting was nearly illegible and for the few pounds they cost it's definitely worth a try. Not sure the pencils themselves have improved his handwriting but they haven't done any harm either and he likes having his special pencils. They don't fit a standard sharpener so make sure you have means of sharpening them.

These are fantastic. My son is so much more confident using them. He has hypermobility, making it difficult to properly hold 'normal' pencils. It is not just the grip that he likes either. The lead is strong too, not had a broken nib yet. It actually wears down before needing sharpening, and that takes a while too. Everyone in our home prefers them. Will be buying more.

These have a very fine point on them considering they’re a ‘first’ pencil crayonI almost felt like I had to press on hard and blunt them before my son could see the colour (he’s 3)Love the triangle shape and the bright colours. They’re a fairly chubby crayon to holdExcellent value but maybe for older children who are more accurate with colouring

Loved these pencils and the range of colours they came in. Being chunky, these pencils, should be easy for youngsters or persons with disability with gripping to hold comfortably. The pencils are easy to sharpen and should have longevity. The mark making should be good using these pencils, I have not personally tried them so cannot comment.

I bought these for my ASD son who has motor weakness and difficulties on the advice of our OT. He just started school. They are a good size and he finds them much easier than a normal pencil.I have bad arthritis in my hands and find these pencils much easier to use than normal pens and pencils. I wish they did their pens like this too!

Girls tend to naturally know how to instinctively hold a pencil whereas boys (not all) tend to struggle. This pencil is chunky and easier to grip. My 4 year old even takes one to school. Very robust, he's dropped it several times on our tiled floor and the lead has never broken. There's even room to write his name on it...thumbs up

The fantastic extra thick triangle shaped pencils are excellent at helping kids learn to hold pens/pencils ‘properly’!! My almost 3yr old daughter picked one up and instantly held it correctly! I was amazed, I normally have to show her. So highly recommended! Great range of colours and strong leads also. Very impressed.

Before I purchased these I ordered another set from Amazon as these at the time where double the price. The others I didnr rate very well and wasnt all that good for my toddler. When looking for a didnt pack to what I had purchased this pack was half the price and they are so much better and durable and easier to grip.

I bought these for my kids as they have fine motor skill problems so they find it hard to write with a normal pencil. These are brilliant they are comfortable easy to write with and they had no problems holding them. These pencil have helped my kids feel confident again about writing. Well worth the money great value

Having a daughter in infant school I researched the best pencils for putting in first school pencil case. Her teacher suggested these tripod grip pencils and we have found them great to use. They help children to remember the correct grip, there is a part to write child's name and easy to sharpen. Will buy for future

Lovely selection of chunky triangular colouring pencils. They are good colours and easy to hold. You will still need to support children to hold them correctly, but once their fingers are in position then do help them to stay that way. You will need a large sharpener and a pencil case as the box made of thin card.

A trangle pencil helps a child hold a pencil in the correct way. My 1yr old granchild has started to scibble on paper and straight away she used the pencil correct. When a child starts reception class at school triangle pencils are used so you are not doing damage to your childs progress by using them at home.

My Daughter has Hypermobility and finding stationery to help her hands is really difficult, but these are brilliant shes had less pain and dislocations and she says they feel comfier to use , so they are really helping her in school. These triangular pencils are the forward and We Thoroughly recommend them.
