What can I say about a pencil? This is a good quality product that sharpens well. The graphite core sits nestled in the centre of the wood centrally and does not not split when sharpened. The wood is good quality as well as it doesn't splinter when sharpened.The colour and general design of the pencil is excellent. I would never mistake it as anything other than a pencil which is useful, especially if I needed a pencil.The pencil works well in its normal 'drawing' mode and comes free with multilingual support allowing you to write actual words in different languages effortlessly. Spell check leaves a lot to be desired but I think that mainly comes down to operator error although they say a good workman always blames his tools.

These pencils are Just amazing! i bought these for my 6year old son who likes to draw sketches and artworks even though he's only very young, he likes all that sort of art-y stuff. and while i was looking for decent pencils, i found this one, since this had a great reviews, in high ranking, made in germany and so on, ticked all the boxes and inexpensive! arrived next day by amazon which was great,pencils at first impression was very good, and my son immediately tried on his drawing book, and i also tried. we both were very surprised at the quality of the pencil. it draws so smoothly that you don't have to even pressure almost, it just helps you draw / write flawlessly.

I recently started sketching for the first time ever and realised I need to use the correct pencils to get the best results. This box of 12 pencils arrived already sharpened and when I needed to sharpen them again it was easy and the lead did not break-off.I am new to using these pencils so not an expert to comment, I can only say how I found them and they were smooth, soft to use and great for a beginner like me. Another important point to mention is when you rub out/erase a mistake, it rubs out clear with no traces of what you have rubbed out, perfect for sketching.I did a bit of research online and it seems that B pencils are the ones to use for sketching.I decided on Staedtler because they were a name I recognised and they have been around for a long time.

I have used Staedtler pencils all my life: ever since I was a little child in year 1. I never really thought much of these pencils when I was younger - they were just there an they done the job. And then secondary school came.Stationary shopping was a scary, yet fun experience for me when I was 11. If you got the wrong stuff you were stuck with it until it gets chewed up by the dog. It almost happened to me once. I went to a discount family store (they rhyme with the word vilkingsons) and I purchased one super cheap pencil (It was like 5p?).It was awful - I had to resharpen it every 10 minutes because the lead kept coming off. Then I thought 'what's that pencil that I used in primary school?'.

Staedtler...It's more like a word you say when you sneeze than the name of a pencil manufacturer. While we're at it, Noris is a bit of an odd name for a pencil. If you threw it, would you Chuck Noris?But seriously folks, whatever the nomenclature, Staedtler (bless you!) advanced writing technology beyond scraping your name on a cave wall with a stone, and that ladies and gentlemen, is a good thing.Using Noris you may write in ANY language imaginable, and several that aren't! You can usually pick up "standard" HB pencils in many places, but the reason I always choose 2B is that the lead's soft enough to erase/alter notes easily without leaving a trace as a harder HB would, and they're also a pleasure to write with -- nice and smooth. Staedtler is a good make: reliable, and their pencils sharpen well. Mine arrived very promptly by standard mail from Caboodle, though unfortunately the box had only been put into a thin plastic envelope without any padding or protection -- not the postie's fault as he didn't know what they were, but on being pushed through the letterbox the pack fell onto a hard tiled floor and I hope the pencils survived the impact without any of the leads breaking.

There are probably many varieties of pencils as there are jobs for them. As for me, the HB pencils stocked by Tradeur store come off as the best. The point is soft and you do not need to press the paper hard for the writing to be visible. Talking of the writing, it comes very smooth and sharp without paint falling off as other pencils do. They are also pleasure to write with as they fit properly in your fingers. For artists, this comes off as a serious choice as the work you might be working on right now! I would strongly recommend the Tradeur store on these pencils.Further, the shipping was done in a timely manner and the items arrived in time.

As a Primary School Teacher I've use 100s of different types of pencil in schools as a school teacher from the dreadful budget ones that a Head orders to save a few quid and we waste money because they will not sharpen, break, shatter, the woods rubbish and well you know the rest.If you need an HB pencil then you might as well get one that does the trick, sharpens well and feels good.These are exactly that. They are the best I've ever used and worth the few pence extra you may pay after all the rubbish ones.Quality always sells.All the Staedtler range have good wood, great leads and does the trick without fuss.I love the look.

Staedler pencils are one of my all time favorites. You can tell that they have been well made and the fact that they already be sharpened for you makes them easy for quick use and saves the hassle of you having to sharpen then yourself. I personally don't like pencils with the eraser on top because it makes then feel much more heavier in my opinion but I definitely think these were light and easy to sketch or do maths with them.The sharpener seemed quite poorly made but the rubber was normal sized which made it worth it and it was nice for them to be there.I would definitely recommend and purchase these again because for a 10 pack of pencils this quality under £3, idefinitely worth it!

These pencils are the Rolls Royce of the pencil world. Aesthetically, these pencils resemble a rocket, with cool and sleek yellow and black lines which no doubt assist in the aerodynamics of putting lead onto paper. These pencils are in good shape, not thin but slim, and easily put fat pencils to shame. It's the nature of the beast when you pencil tip gets blunt, luckily you can buy a 'sharpener' which overcomes this and restores the point to the tip. One of the best attributes to these pencils are that they have a built in 'rubber' which can erase what you have written, this helps ensure that your writing is error free. I recommend these pencils highly, I would however recommend getting a 'pencil case',

This pack of ten Staedtler pencils, along with a rubber and small pencil sharpener, is good quality and excellent value for money. The pencils themselves are well made - the lead does not fall apart when you sharpen them, like some cheaper makes, and they write clearly. It is worth pointing out that they do not have rubbers at the end though. Personally, I do prefer pencils to have rubbers, especially for younger children. However, this will obviously depend on the age of your child and what they are going to use them for - writing, or maths.Oddly, although the rubber is fairly large and looks well made, the pencil sharpener is small and looks quite cheaply made. These are excellent pencils at a decent price.As with all the range these pencils really come up to the mark.They sharpen really well- being made from decent wood and the leads are good too.In the long run a decent pencil like this actually saves you money over the cheapo because you have to sharpen then so much more; the lead break more often and you throw the things away in frustration.You really do get what you pay for and these are worth the price.(For those that don't know what the 2H means it refers to the hardness of the lead.These are specialised leads for work where you need a hard point such as working in wood etc.if you want a set for general get a set of HB or for art work a much

A pretty good starter set for Junior's school bag. Ten Staedtler HB pencils, a sharpener and the ever-popular Mars Plastic eraser. The eraser on its own sells for almost as much as this set so it's not a bad deal.The pencils are standard shape so are comfortable to hold and the lead writes well. The eraser makes a good job of removing the lead cleanly and the sharpener ... well, it sharpens, but it's hard to say how long the blade will keep its edge.Other reviewers have commented on receiving a number of pencils with broken lead but so far we've yet to find one. Maybe they were unlucky or their delivery driver was a bit ham-fisted when loading the van.

If you need a 2H pencil then you might as well get one that does the trick, sharpens well and feels good.These are exactly that.All the Staedler range have good wood, great leads and do the trick without fuss.I love the look.
